We met many of the artists that worked on the project including: Rick Chyme, Nixon, Venson Dix & Duke Greene (Punksuhate) , and Molly Bouwsma-Schultz (Blue Molly). Chain of Lakes front-man, Kyle Rasche, and bassist, Mat Churchill, hung out at Mulligan’s in Eastown with WMI editor James Quatrine and The Northern Skies front-man Eric Engblade.  They talked about their new CD ‘Softer Sticks,’ the evolution of Chain of Lakes, song-writing, and the Grand Rapids open-mic scene.
