Thought this'd be a perfect one for Valentine's Day coming up. This came about after a series of serendipitous events in early december 2013, talking with Ness, The Herbal Hustler about Bill, led to making a mini-bill mix (maybe i'll put that out one day if I expand on it), to watching the documentary "Still Bill" and on the plane ride home, I thought to myself "I'd like Just the Two Of US alot better without Grover's sax" so, I started working on it just for fun. Well, here's how it turned out. Just the Vocal Bill parts chopped, some magic that could only come from the great heart of Bill Withers! 

 Time WIth You is a personal one, lots of heart opening while I was working on it, and what was going on with myself, my wife, my best friend Ness, and her boyfriend. It's about spending one-on-one time with those you love, which is so so important when the relationship is deep. Whether it's a: mother, father, grandma or grandpa, brother or sister, wife or husband, daughter or son, homie, friend, soul mate, or twin soul. Whether renewing an old friendship, or starting a new one, all the words you need to voice how you feel were sung by Bill 30 some years ago.

So, to dedicate, on my travels, I of course interact and sometimes hangout with the Girlfriends & Wives of my Musical Peers. They always tell me the SAME THING. "Gaff, make sure you make the most of your time with your lady when you're at home" So, really, this song is for them, missing their men, and to all my brothers travelling or touring on the road, "make the most of your time with YOUR ladies when you're at home!"

Parallel Night opens the EP with live brass instruments and a dreamy soundscape for an epic build into a heavy bass drop that blends flawlessly with the live instrumentation.  A perfect glimpse into the two sounds these two are blending for this release and leaving the listener wanting more.  Merely Players leans more on the bass side of their sound, with captivating vocals and a catchy beat perfect to flow to.  It still brings in their live instrumentation but is no longer the focus of the track, slowly building more and more instruments in as the song progresses.  Getting Busy starts with a hip-hop style build with live flute and male vocals building into a heavy glitch-hop drop with perfect horn sections over the bass wubs and growls.  Spinnin Up closes the EP with an epic track with heavier growls and bass while still keeping the live instrumentation throughout.  This release is very cohesive and all the tracks blend these styles flawlessly in a fresh new way.

Live at the Ethereal Equinox! 

This hour-long deep dubstep voyage from 11PM to midnight embodied the cosmic balance of the equinox. Ancient Eastern influences like ethereal atmospheres and haunting chants seamlessly merged with futuristic sound design and subatomic bassweight. Each transition pulled dancers deeper into an alternate reality where boundaries dissolved.
Grooves locked into a primal universal pulse, channeling the rhythmic cycles of light and dark. Earthy organic tones converged with cyberdelic synthlines to manifest the equinox's delicate equilibrium through sheer bass frequency exploration. A balanced auditory journey celebrating the convergence of opposing forces.
