We, the Surreal began with the end of the band Our Ship Has Sunk! when founding members Scott, Xack, Anthony, and Danny decided to make the switch from pop-punk to post-hardcore. Over the next few months, WTS would lose both Danny and Anthony, and gain vocalist Fabian and new bassist Rocco.
