Virtual Geisha’s debut is a sonic punch against apathy. After years of hypnotizing with emotionally charged DJ sets and visionary curatorship, she breaks through as a producer with a techno manifesto built to set the dancefloor on fire.

At its core pulses a searing monologue from Network (1976), as urgent now as it was four decades ago. Around it, Virtual Geisha builds a ritual of tension: hypnotic bongos, gritty textures, and a piano loop by Hania Derej, re-sampled and twisted into a melancholic vortex.

This is not escapist techno: it’s techno with teeth.
A groove that bites, demands movement and awareness, turning the floor into a space of resistance and catharsis.

Rooted in theater, philosophy, and the forgotten corners of 90s electronica, Virtual Geisha treats production like dramaturgy. “I Want You to Get Mad” is her opening act, and it doesn’t whisper, it screams
