“Introversy” is a raw and heartfelt exploration of what it means to be introverted in a world that often celebrates noise over nuance. It embraces the quiet strength that comes from stillness the idea that being introverted doesn’t mean being inactive or uninspired. Instead, it’s about moving through life with depth, intention, and meaning, even when no one is watching.

At its core, the song is stripped-back and honest, letting the emotion sit right on the surface. There’s a raw vulnerability in both the lyrics and delivery a reflection of self-acceptance and inner peace.

Musically, “Introversy” nods to the harmonic brilliance of The Beatles, with layered vocals and subtle melodic interplay, while a modern sl is a apback vocal rhythm keeps it grounded in the present. The result is a blend of nostalgic warmth and contemporary soul a sound that feels both familiar and freshly sincere.

Ultimately, “Introversy” is an anthem for the quiet ones proof that even in silence, there’s meaning, power, and a voice that deserves to be heard.

Acclaimed electronic musicians, producers and sound architects Max Cooper and Rob Clouth team up for a new collaborative EP; a dark, playful four-track dive into ambient, breakbeat and techno’s subconscious flow, featuring a standout vocal performance from South London rapper FLOHIO.

Recorded over a series of spontaneous London sessions, “8 Billion Realities” channels years of creative exchange between two of the genre’s most quietly innovative artists and is a result of a decision between the longtime friends to refrain from conceptual overthinking in favour of instinct and joy.

As long-time admirers of each other’s audio/visual work, Cooper and Clouth collaborated in London together after both emerging from intense, idea-heavy album cycles. What followed was a series of exploratory sessions, half-improvised, half-built around half-formed thoughts.
The result is a club-ready EP that feels alive and human: imperfect and hypnotically rich.

'8 Billion Realities' is released on vinyl and all digital streaming platforms on Friday 7th November.

In these strange and challenging times, we need friends, family, and community more than ever. For that reason, I've created a series of online gatherings under the 'We Are One' banner as a means of bringing people together from all corners of the globe to laugh, love, and dance (like no one's watching).

These social events put YOU first, with a High Definition audio stream via Mixlr and additional capacity for up to 100 Zoom video attendees. The first event was a huge success and there'll be a second 'We Are One' on the weekend of 25/26th April 2020. Details on the website.

This set was created using Ableton, an APC40 Controller (that I found at the back of a cupboard and had never used before) and a LaunchKey MIDI keyboard, and as such it's as much about on-the-fly live performance as it is about straight-up DJ'ing. Enjoy!
