"Slave To Society (ex AnD) returns to Natural Selection with a white-hot experimental techno EP, accompanied by an IDM-infused remix from industrial electronica duo; Somatic Responses.

After a decade of redefining techno dance floors as AnD, Andrew Bowen returned to his experimental, hardware-focussed roots as Slave To Society in October 2019. 
Since then he has seen his music released by highly revered institutions in the world of hard techno, noise, breakcore, IDM and industrial electronica, such as PRSPCT, Pure Hate, Ohm Resistance and BANK Records NYC. 
Following on from his remix of Kamikaze Space Programme’s ‘Dust To Dust’, released on Natural Selection in 2022, Slave To Society releases his first full EP for the London based imprint. 
‘Ai Invasion’ releases in April and takes up the torch from Versalife and Rommek, whose prior releases via Natural Selection saw support from the likes of Dave Clarke, Tommy Four Seven, Takaaki Itoh, The Advent, Annie Hall, Alienata and more.

‘Ai Invasion’ is a sonic exploration of the symbiotic relationship between humanity and technology. 
Slave To Society uses carefully designed futuristic soundscapes and atmospheric textures, layered with AI generated vocals, combined with heavy and fiercely unpredictable drum elements. 
Expect advanced, experimental hard techno and noise, fused with powerful low-end muscle, raging hi-hats, fragmented percussion and augmented amens. 
In true Slave To Society fashion, all rules and boundaries are smashed to pieces and all tracks are equally suitable for blasting through the world’s biggest club systems and rigs as they are for home listening.

Formed in 2008, Wet Mango is Maia (Cristina Fuentes) They use a mix-match of hi-fi and lo-fi electronic equipment to produce and play live hardware sets. Mostly instrumental, Wet Mango is a non-definitive mix of electronic sub-genres, most closely associated with breakcore with heaviest influences being from hardcore, industrial, and booty bass.They also love doing cover songs including artists such as Prince, The Doors, Blondie, Delta 5, Siouxsie and the Banshees, & Wham.

They formerly had a project named Sonic Death Rabbit with the legendary Baseck. WM has toured extensively within the US and internationally. They are also a member of the record labels Subconscious Communications Records and Darkmatter Soundsystem.

I’m 2018 they put out another project called Tree Skeleton that self released an album called “Healing through shadow and light.”
