This is my final mix of Astha TM Remix. It was done in Ableton Live mostly from scratch + some FX samples in the Rise/Rebound parts.

Astha Remix Final (Labi/Nov 2012)

I'm an audio enthusiast and self trained audio engineer based around Boston.

As an audiophile myself I'm constantly trying to create sounds that interest me and hopefully will interest discerning music lovers like myself who always insist on the highest quality production. 

My sounds are heavily influenced by roots/reggae/dub music and all other breakbeat based genres that have spun out of dub/reggae. My musical influences mostly come from people I've met and shows I've attended as well as my own roots which is Nepalese music.

I play electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums. I also constantly tinker with software and hardware synths, fx units and basically whatever I can get my hands on.

Setup: Windows 7 PC with Ableton Live, MOTU Mk3 Audio Interface, UAD 2 solo DSP card, KRK Rokit 8s and VMPS Ribbon Monitor II

Other Gear: Nord / Fender / Roland / Moog / Alesis / Ableton Live  / Native Instruments / Arturia / Korg / Line 6.
