The Peak Hour Experience was a monthly radio show which was broadcasted globally. The exhibition aimed to give the listener a full-on wall of sound that mirrors the energy played during Peak Time Hours of a Hard Techno/Hardgroove/Quality Proper Techno set. Wetworks curated each set and featured notable members of the Global Techno Elite, as well as shining the spotlight toward the future beacons of the Techno scene. Released originally on Dj Vitamin D's "Cutz" label on a vinyl Various Artist compilation alongside Paul Mac, A. Paul, and Gray. This track was a foray into the more intricate shades of the Hardgroove genre. I sought to make a combination of the more brutal sound of hard techno and the groove of tribal. Thank you, Jaime, for helping me get my hands on this one. After all this time. I have not had my copy of this track since 2008. I'm happy to share it with you all and hope it stands the test of time.

Our latest guest is CODA Resident Nez. Nez is a DJ of all things techno/electro/acid/jungle and everything in between and has been djing regularly around the Irish underground electronic music scene since 1998.  Refusing to be pigeonholed to anyone, one set has led Nez to share stages and warm up for the likes of Mala, Surgeon, Hudson Mowhawke, Kyle Hall, Supa DJ Dimitry from Deelite, DJ Deep, DJ Pete, Regis, Skream & Benga, Trevino, Marcel Dettmann, Trevino, Daniel Bell, Perc, Egyptian Lover, DJ Funk, Source Direct, Legowelt, Radioactive Man, Roy Davis Junior, Lil Louis, Blawan, Neil Landstrumm to name a small few.  He's held down many residencies over the years and played around Europe, culminating in a Boiler Room set at AVA Festival in 2018.  Currently, he's running the Computer Controlled label and is part of the techno collective Coda. The Peak Hour Experience Podcast - Nez

Based out of Upstate NY, Matthew Antico also known as PS11 is a techno DJ and Producer. Growing up between Southern California and NYC,  Matt’s musical influences are as varied as the places he grew up. His parents, both lovers of music, not only introduced him to the music they grew up on but encouraged him to find music that moved him. Because of that influence, music became a deeply rooted passion, and he found himself seeking out less-heard underground music. Learning to play guitar & drums at 13 he went on to play in a number of bands in Southern California. In 1996 He decided to move to NYC full-time, and It wasn’t long after that he found himself walking into his first rave at the famed ROXY nightclub. Immediately taken with the dark atmosphere and pounding grooves, it wasn’t long until he picked up his first pair of Technics 1200s. After spending years in the NYC techno scene, Matt stepped away, taking a well-needed break to focus on his health, family, and career. In that time away he joined the Albany-based post-metal band YOMA and recorded a few records and EPs which he had a hand in most of the recording, mixing, and mastering process. In 2016, Matt slowly refocused his musical efforts on DJ’ing and producing techno and in 2022 began releasing tracks with labels such as Mastoid Kollektive, Chicago Jaxxx, and Random Select Records, with a forthcoming release on E-HRZN Records based out of Miami. PS11’s DJ sets and productions are percussive and raw taking cues from his roots with late 90’s and early 2000s techno. The future is unwritten, but PS11 plans to continue this journey of music production with a love for the music, craft, and creative process, and to continue to grow as a musician one day at a time.

Travelling around the Globe and DJ-Support from the likes of Richie Hawtin, Ben Sims, Radio Slave, Truncate, Mark Broom, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Luke Slater, Paco Osuna, Amelie Lens, DJ Rush, Will Clarke, Danny Howard, Eats Everything, DJ Bone, Danny Tenaglia, etc.. confirmes his recognition as an artist. After more than 50 Releases/Remixes on Labels like KMS (Label of Techno Originator Kevin Saunderson), Recycled Loops (former Label of UMEK/Valentino Kanzyani), Ingoma (former Label of Ben Sims), Primate,.. in the last two decades, it was finally time to move on from Boriqua Tribez to the next chapter called "Uncertain". Founded in 2018 "Uncertain" shows the more frantic side of techno which - since then - gained in Releases on Labels such as Rekids, WRKTRX, ANAOH, Kneaded Pains, Illegal Alien, Mindshake, Mind Medizin, Uncage, Suara or Tronic, just to name but a few..

Lars Klein has an unmistakable sound that annihilated the late 90's & 2000's
Ask anyone that used his tracks, or any label that signed his tracks. He delivered pure Peak Hour Material. Not only was his production sound undeniably raw and honest, but his DJing style was vicious and in demand. When he composed the One Family Thing Album along with Michael Burkat, you could tell they saw the writing on the wall with the commercial appeal coming to the scene and integrity possibly fleeting out the door. While it was a fresh album. It was a prophecy of sorts. Lars is a solid guy and has provided us with an all-vinyl set recorded live.


Biography:
Lars Klein, born Dortmund (in the huge industrial Ruhr area), became infected with electronic music when he first listened to the vinyls of Jean-Michel Jarre. In the Mid-80s, he got in touch with House music and it were labels such as "DJ International" and "Trax" who left their deepest traces with their impelling and propulsive electronic sounds without any vocal knick-kack whatsoever. Equipped with turntables and a tape deck, he began to produce a series of amateur mix tapes which his friends and mates received with much enthusiasm. In the early 90s, he had his first DJ bookings which marked that Lars was set for his musical career. In 1994 he had assembled his first studio equipment, and he immediately began to work hard at developing his production skills. In December 1995, a breakthrough in his Djing was achieved when Lars was booked for an extensive DJ Tour in Lithuania and throughout Germany. In 1999, Lars started working for an important record store in Dortmund, which strengthened his already existing contact with the former A&R of Fine Audio Recordings and Compressed Records. This contact lead to his first official 12" vinyl on Compressed Rec. which was released in September 1999. Further releases on FINE AUDIO and other labels such as BOUND and COMPRESSED were soon to follow. Now Lars is a much requested DJ worldwide.

Samuel has been in the electronic music scene since the 90's with releases on Music Man, Figure, Soma, Klap Klap and Be As One to name a few.

Samuel started his first own label, Solid Beat in 1995 and 2 years later the first Cycle was released. "In Your Box' became his breakthrough record followed by "Check Out This I Bring". After eleven releases on Cycle, Samuel forms SLS. SLS's first track "Velvet" became a big dance floor hit and were soon hailed as a classic. During the same period Samuel was invited to remix "Visions Of You" by Blake Baxter & Trevor Rockcliffe as well as Funk D'Void's "Diabla" on Soma. When "Merengue" came out soon after on SLS, it was one of his best sold records ever including remixes from Slam and Oliver Ho.

In 2006 it was time for a new challenge, Klap Klap was born. With this totally new approach he reached out to a wider audience. "Can You Relate" has become a true and modern classic, a track with just the right combinations which later have been remixed by Slam, Steve Rachmad, Joris Voorn and Anja Schneider.

In October 2009, Samuel released his first album "The Man With The Case" on Be As One. Laurent Garnier, Rolando, Francois K, Christian Smith and Adam Beyer are some of the artists who has embraced his work.

Coming Soon Samuel will be restarting his SLS imprint and you know what that means!

Timing and rhythm are also involved in the military arts, shooting bows and guns, and riding horses. In all skills and abilities there is timing.... There is timing in the whole life of the warrior, in his thriving and declining, in his harmony and discord. Similarly, there is timing in the Way of the merchant, in the rise and fall of capital. All things entail rising and falling timing. You must be able to discern this. In strategy there are various timing considerations. From the outset you must know the applicable timing and the inapplicable timing, and from among the large and small things and the fast and slow timings find the relevant timing, first seeing the distance timing and the background timing. This is the main thing in strategy. It is especially important to know the background timing, otherwise your strategy will become uncertain."
