wewillalwaysbealovesong has very quietly become a much treasured outlet for classy hosue sounds by those who know. It is the on form Retromigration who steps up now following EPs on Handy and Wolf Music that deserve more attention than they seem to have so far got. He brings his sleek modern deep house style to the fore here with opener 'Secret Of A Pimp' layering up crispy boom-bap house drums with warm, whirring pads and smart vocal sample. The don Jimpster adds his textbook musicality to a fine remix, then 'Flying Lotus' brings a more airy and melodic vibe for outdoor dancing. The Franc Spangler remix is dubby and deep as you like.

Based on an original idea by fellow producer Lennart, Slow Motion & Ritmo Fatale are joining forces in creating a new entity in the italo-disco multiverse : Universo Parallelo. On this ten tracks various the idea is to showcase artists from both labels, trying to merge their Italian and French music approaches. Founded in 2009 by Italian artists Franz Scala and Fabrizio Mammarella, Slow Motion Records has since become well-loved and respected for showcasing the very finest dance music from a collection of contemporary Italian producers. Now running between Italy and Berlin, the label remains focused on staying true to the original feelings and vibes that have been present on dancefloors the world over for the last 30 years.

Operating since early 2020, Toulouse-based Ritmo Fatale is the label held by French duo Kendal & Paul. They are bringing back italo-disco and sounds inherited from the 80s and 90s on the front of the stage under an hybrid and modernized form, boosted with EBM & early trance influences. They like to call it ‘Italo Body Music’.

Longtime passionate about discovering and sharing music, cultural and artistic references; launching and managing their own label is for them the best way to express their identity.

Berkay (@berkayozdin) is mainly known as the yogi of Deepist (@deepist), he's living in Istanbul, an ambitious music digger, actively working on spreading music as a pure communication tool. We can also mention he as one of the creators of COUP projekt, focused on podcast and track curation and premieres. Plus, Berkay contributes actively to KLAN community to support underground bands, live acts and DJ's.
