For our 26th Edition of the T-Minus Podcast, we are excited to introduce Carla Schmitt, a fast-rising techno DJ from Paris. Carla has been making waves in the techno scene with her high-energy performances and innovative sound. 

DJ, producer, dancer and choreographer,
Carla has diverse influences that have allowed her to propose an artistic universe of its own. 

She has made her mark on the Parisian scene thanks to a dark, heartbreaking, melodic, dynamic, and sensual techno. She has been able to distinguish herself by suggesting immersive sound and visual projects.

Her first project produced by Shotgun in 2021 that was about mixing dance and livestream, brought a wave of freshness and novelty to the techno scene.

A few months later, she released her first EP "My Fears" on vinyl and digital format on KR Records.  She illustrated this project with an eponymous video combining acting and dance. This EP was a compelling debut in music production for Carla Schmitt. Félicie and Charlie Sparks took part of it by making remixes.

In 2022, Carla released her second EP "Blank Page" on Dusk Records in digital format including remixes by Lee Ann Roberts and MRD. This is a new turning point for the artist who reaffirms herself as a music producer and shows more than ever her willingness to share the passion that drives her.

Carla has first performed across France in many clubs and warehouse such as the iconic Rex Club, Nexus and La Machine du Moulin Rouge in Paris, Iboat in Bordeaux, Arena in Toulouse and Dieze warehouse in Montpellier. Then, she made her debut abroad in February 2022 at Exil Club in Zurich. From then on, she played in other countries such as Lithuania where she performed at Kablys Club in Vilnius, Germany at Anomalie Art Club in Berlin for Hex Movement, Switzerland at Le Zoo Usine in Geneva, Austria for ANANAS VIENNA collective, Italy at Mantra Club in Genoa, and many others...

Perc & Truss @ Soenda Festival 2015

Back at our mammoth Stay True Scotland broadcast earlier this month, one track came real close to bringing The Caves' roof down during Nina Kraviz's powerhouse headline set. "I Wanna Go Bang" very nearly executed its titular statement – well, if the song was more about wrecking balls and less about...oh, never mind.

The vocals that stalk the track, so wholly devoid of humanity, rub up against razor-sharp claps and serious bounce in the subs. It's weighty warehouse techno of the highest order, set to devastate dark basements and big tents alike throughout the year. Simply put: Icelandic producer Bjarki has delivered a bomb.

We are back with another podcast and this week we have Remco Beekwilder joining us! The man behind arguably one of the biggest EPs of last year has been kind enough to do a mix for us and it fairly bangs. He's packed a lot into an hour!

It's been a pretty quick rise from Remco, with tracks on Dax J's Monnom Black & Stranger's Self Reflektion labels and we're big fans of his work. Straight up no nonsense DOOF! Be good to see him make an appearance in Belfast in the near future....

[ Wex 10 ] triumphs once more in his new productions. 
This year has been its best, especially during this summer. 
Indeed, music labels such as Combine Audio, Odd Recordings or the Sam Paganini’s label called Jam gave him the chance to share all his talent and his imagination. Several of his tracks are ranked in the Beatport top 100 and are played by artists like Carl Cox, Amelie Lens, Adam Beyer or Pan pot in festivals world wide such as Tomorrowland, Love Family Park or Awakenings. 
He is here to stay, being a bet for the future of techno music.
