AlpaKa MuziK is proud to present our 17th edition of AlpaKast, a series of sets and mixes by talented DJs & producers from all around the world.

This time, we are happy to host David Phoenix, a very talented up and coming artist in the minimal techno community. He has releases on many respected labels and some coming out on AlpaKa in the near future ;)
This mix features an hour of some of the best dark, groovy minimal and psychedelic techno, including multiple tracks from our label.
 You will not be disappointed.

A little about the artist:
David Phoenix is a hungarian DJ/Producer, based in Vienna. His sound is minimal style techno, as dark as possible, vibrant grooves spiced up with industrial noises and trippy atmospheres.
Even though he only launched his career recently, his productions are already signed to various record labels such as Music4Aliens, Mothr Music, Dense Audio, Subios Records, Pointzero Rec and more.
He always delivers the newest techno tracks, in his podcast series Monthly Darkness.

One of the last contenders this year is the deservedly famous Tanja le Chains, from Salzburg, Austria. Her main path is minimal techo, playing with dark basslines and psychedelic elements gives a character to her music. Also the head of the respected Tiefdruck she is not just an artist but an organiser as well. Took part in many many gigs, for example in Cross Club in Prague, Mensch Meier & Der Weiße Hase in Berlin, Climax Institutes in Stuttgart, the Echelon Open Air Festival in Bad Aibling or the Harry Klein in Munich. 
Of course this mix also lives up to her name, so now witness some greatness!

The name “Crescendoll” means more than what it seems on the surface - it describes a charming music maker, a musical conduit comprehensively educated in music and technical production, and stylistically influenced by a wide array of dark and melodic electronic sounds. Crescendoll has been a lifelong music enthusiast and an artist and producer of electronic music since 2010, delivering her music all across not only the California west-coast, but across North America and overseas. Crescendoll is a founder and a label boss for LA dark minimal techno / psytech label Shadow Wulf, and an alpha and producer with sister label Wulfpack, both among which her talents and efforts shine the brightest. The past three years have produced releases on Subios, AlpaKa MuziK, Frisson Recs, Alula Tunes, POINTZERO Recs, Evil Flow., Plazma, Jaw Dropping Recordings, and Rubik's Recordings.

mexCalito is a young German producer who's tracks are being released by some of world's best underground techno labels.
His sound is characterized by frisky and rolling basses and an experimental hypnotic groove. His unique music style is a cross between Techno, Zenon, Minimal and a kind of haunting psychedelic groove. Driving psycho synth tones with bubbling and fizzy sounds arisen from another world, integrating a freakish and impelling drive that guarantees a physical experience along the journey.
