But anyways, merry Christmas, everyone!  And here's a little remix to celebrate.  Carol of the Bells has always been one of my favorite holiday songs, and I finally learned how to make hardstyle, so this is my first attempt at it.  Fun, but incredibly difficult to mix haha.

Poppin' Caps

Kicking off my new producer name, What Do!  I realized I wanted to move away from my real name and get an alias, so I did that.  I had a really good reason, but I forgot it.

So again this year I went off to music camp, and again we bribed the counsellor doing Clean Cabin with all sorts of things.  It's become almost a tradition that I do this now, so this is the third song I've done.  Completely done in my free time at camp (except for some mastering at home).  So yeah enjoy.

Entry for the We're Not Alone remix competition by Virtual Riot.  I took a different approach for this one; it's not exactly supposed to be EDM.  It turned out how I wanted it to, which is a huge step for me.  I hope you enjoy!

My remix of Elliot Berger's "Hold On" featuring Ranja.  I had to really rush this one - it was 6 days before the due date and the composition wasn't done.  But hard work pays off in the end, right?

As with my last remix, I've been really trying to experiment more and break traditional EDM clichés.

2015 was a slow year for me, but I'm back for 2016.  Starting off the year with my remix of Taiyaki, by Underscores and Script!  I've been really inspired by the work that Porter Robinson has been doing with all his Worlds stuff, and I think it shows through.

Fun fact: I actually got a nosebleed while working on the artwork.  I've become a trope, and I'm not sure I'm ok with it.

It's 6:30 in the morning the day this is due for the remix contest.  An hour ago, I didn't have a lead synth.  Such is life.

Big thanks to Marshmello and Monstercat for hosting this competition; I'm glad I had a chance to work with these stems and I feel like I've made significant progress as a musician as a result - there's always more to learn, though!  (I do wish they'd released vocal stems without the highpass filter, however...)
