In this AU, both Monster Kid and Goner Kid take the role of Papyrus. GK mysteriously appeared 6 years ago, and somewhat swiftly found themselves adopted by Grillby along with MK (and their sister).
MK and GK are now an inseparable duo, who have both decided to defeat the next human they come across. GK's reasons aren't particularly clear, but MK isn't shy about admitting their desire to be a hero, filling the void left by the losses of Papyrus and Undyne. 
Alone, they'd likely be too weak to do anything... But as a pair they have as many limbs as the average human!
