If you follow my DeviantArt, you would’ve already seen that I made this post (https://www.deviantart.com/patwhit01/journal/I-m-not-making-any-more-Undertale-related-content-752994008) regarding me not making anymore Undertale content due to extreme frustration with this community. (Mostly people stealing my work and using it for trash AUs that don’t exist, not crediting, spreading misinformation about my AU which causes people to trash on it, etc. etc.) 

No, this doesn’t mean this AU is cancelled. But it is on indefinite hiatus until my frustration dies down and I get motivation to continue this again. I might still answer asks every once in a while, but there will be no progress on the comic until the hiatus is done. Now please stop asking me about the AU on all of my other blogs.

I’m sorry to announce this after keeping the people who legitimately follow this project have been waiting so long for the release, but Undertale is about three years old now and it’s very hard to make any content related to it after all this time of doing almost nothing but that. I hope you can understand.

What It Once Was, also known by its previous name, Unex, is an Alternate Universe story based on the video game Undertale. You follow a child named Frederick and his quest through the world underneath Mt. Ebott in order to save the monsters from their eternal isolation. If you have experience with Undertale, you’ll meet a lot of familiar faces along the way, but not in the same way you remember them.
