...und wieder ist ein Monat rum. Der Sommer neigt sich dem Ende, aber der August war wieder sehr erlebnisreich. Vor allem das letzte Wochenende = Kepotopia Zeit!! Mein musikalisches Tagebuch ist diesmal geprägt vom Sound dieses Wochenendes. Ich selbst durfte am Mittwoch das Opening Set auf dem Birkhain Floor spielen, ein paar Tracks sind im Mix mit drin. Tolles Erlebnis, tolles Wochenende und noch dazu durfte ich einige tolle Menschen kennenlernen. :) Am Schluss des Sets noch einer meiner absoluten Lieblings-trancetitel ever! R.I.P.  B-Zet.

Louis EMP ist Mitbegründer der Partyreihe PERRAS und Resident DJ der queeren Clubnacht Garry Klein. Geprägt durch New-Wave-, Krautrock- und Punk-Einflüsse in seiner Kindheit, liegt Louis‘ Hauptaugenmerk auf der Darstellung der psychedelischen, trippigen und zeitlosen Facetten elektronischer Musik. Ohne an ein bestimmtes Genre oder Tempo gebunden zu sein, sind seine Sets das Ergebnis einer leidenschaftlichen Auseinandersetzung mit der Musik. Der Fokus von Louis EMP liegt auf der Entwicklung außergewöhnlicher Atmosphären. Für diesen Mix ging er tief in seine Liebe zur House-Musik ein, kombiniert mit interessanten Texturen aus Progressive- und Tribal-Elementen, glasiert mit schillernden Schichten von Ambient.

Louis EMP is co-founder of the party series PERRAS and resident DJ of the queer club night Garry Klein. Shaped through New Wave, Krautrock and Punk influences in his childhood, Louis’ main focus lies on showcasing the psychedelic, trippy and timeless facets of electronic music. Without being attached to a single genre or pace, his sets are a result of passionate music digging. Louis EMP’s focus lies on developing extraordinary atmospheres. For this mix he went deep into his Love for house music, combined with interesting textures of Progressive and tribal elements, glaced with iridescent layers of Ambient.
