On the coldest night of summer time, I wrote the words, 'will you be mine?' I couldn’t see a thing, the sky the darkest it had ever been. There was no moon, there were no stars, but I still memorized, the constellations in your eyes. The constant shaking of my voice keeps me inside, keeps me silent (coz)I hate the way I talk, so I drink and so smoke.
Til I forget, the things we said, the day we met and the way we spent, and I’ll regret, the smoke on my breath, when our lips meet. I can’t keep doing this. Now I’m in bed, quietly coughing into my pillow so you don’t wake up.
I’m sorry, if you did.
