Every great album needs a solid remix EP! That’s what Niconé thought to himself after the recent release of his critically acclaimed ‘Let Love Begin’ longplayer. Thus he invited friends and artists he admires alike to reinterpret some of the highlights of the album. The results are as versatile as they are stunning.

Big-room piano work-out ‘Burnhain’ gets the treatment by three heavyweights of the scene. England’s Ejeca has been causing quite a stir with his signature mix of classic Jersey house and UK bass elements. Here, he turns in a tasteful mix of high-pitched vocals, which focuses on dub chords rather than the original’s piano melody. Teenage Mutants opts for the no nonsense approach as he delivers a straight house banger of driving hats and a bass-line to die for, while Mat.Joe chop up the piano hook and loop it over a new percussive skeleton.

SIS’s remix of ‘Querido’ is an epic twelve minute long journey that takes the original’s vocals into darker, drugged-out territories. Psychedelic! Similarly, Gunjah goes all out on his dramatic synth interpretation of ‘Let Love Begin’, which seems made with Ibiza closing parties in mind. Rampue’s version of ‘Candelaria’ is, in contrast, crafted for dark winter days as lots of melancholia runs through the veins of the track. Of course, Niconé was keen to turn in a remix himself and enlisted his good friend Philip Bader to give him a hand. The resulting reinterpretation of ‘Candelaria’ is an out-and-out tech house monster made for the peaktime.

Samuel Carangelo, aka Low.Tales was born in italy and raised in Zurich, Switzerland. Music has always been an important matter for his family and thus for his upbringing and daily life and started to play the guitar by the year of six. He eventually noticed a strong connection between him and electronic music. Samuel decided to develop and produce his own type of Deep House and Tech-House – “Someone Like You”, with a touch of melody and organic expression which has always been a part of his education. As a bonus, there are two great and very own interpretations of “Someone Like You” of Mario Aureo and Rhadow.

Samuel Carangelo, aka Low.Tales, wurde in Italien geboren und wuchs in der Schweiz in Zürich auf. 
Er wurde in einer Familie in der Musik gefördert wurde groß und so bestimmte die Musik immer einen Teil seines Tagesablaufes. Mit sechs Jahren begann Samuel auf der Gitarre zu spielen. Im Laufe der Zeit erkannte er, dass es eine starke Verbindung zwischen ihm und der elektronischen Musik gibt. Samuel beschloss seine ganz eigene Art von Deep House und Tech-House zu produzieren – “Someone Like You”, mit einem Hauch von Melodie und organischem Ausdruck, was immer auch Teil seiner musikalischen Erziehung war. Als Bonus gibt es zwei tolle und ganz eigene Interpretationen von “Someone Like You” von Mario Aureo und Rhadow.

Swiftly following on from the killer Grass is Greener release on his own Ladies and Gentlemen label, Phonique returns with a dope remix package featuring today's debut transmission from Larse.

Teaming up with Swedish singer / songwriter Antonia Vai, Michael Vater produced a one of the tracks of the year with the original, and here four perfectly curated remixes add new dimensions to the song. Production dream team Florian Kruse and Nils Nürnberg drop the Kruse & Nürnberg remix that kicks off this release - a tough and funky rework primed for deep-leaning dancefloors.

Label regular Bruno Be provides one his signature high quality remixes - honing in on tight drums and subby, housey bass for the vocals to soar above. For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.
