This is the second take of my first rehearsal on 6/12/15 at Goldsmiths.

As I played and monitored the audio through speakers, I recorded only the FX channels on Ableton to separate them from the original sounds of the drums.

Third and final take from my second rehearsal on 30/01/16 at Goldsmiths, where I experiment with an mbira using a 'Polyrhythmus' Max for Live plugin, layering the sounds over an arpeggiated sequence.

I recorded only the FX channels on Ableton to separate them from the original sounds of the mbira.

30/01/16 Experimenting with an Mbira

First take from my second rehearsal on 30/01/16 at Goldsmiths, where I tried using several percussion instruments.

I recorded only the FX channels on Ableton to separate them from the original sounds of the drums.

The first section is just me playing drums and interacting with the effects. From 0:59 to 1:44, I use a cowbell on the snare. From 1:46 to 2:33, I use a woodblock/shaker on the snare and as a stick. From 2:37 to 3:14 I play some wooden rattles on different parts of the kit. From 3:19 till the end I play a small pair of meditation bells in front of the microphones.
