What?! - the personification of the holy trinity shortly after its appearance on a coconut shell. They crossed the line of musical decency a long time ago and are running away from it at a fast pace.
What?! - multiaxial music to express the beauty and bizarre strangeness of the unique moments within the individual realities each of us experience.
What?! - a celebration of the small things in life, putting a smile on your face by focusing attention on seemingly insignificant and random things.

With their influences ranging from Bob Marley to Frank Zappa and from Battles to “The Godfather” theme tune What?!’s music is a unique mix of different styles and soundscapes taking the listener on an eye-brow-lifting ride through the wonderful worlds of music, space and time.
“What?!” you might ask yourself. Well, the answer is “Yes!” What?! is a collective of two Italians and a Dutchman, masters of musically messing with your mind. 
Being from parts of Europe that are as contrasting as a chicken and a street light - Sicily, the fiery island of mamas and mafiosi, the Netherlands, country of green grass and double-dutch, and South Tyrol, the land of speck and lederhosen – their influences combine into a hurricane of happy hobos.

On the 11th of October 2012 What?! released their first sonic stir-fry entitled “Tikka Masala”, laid back Reggae and a pinch of Rock served on a bed of organic odd-time Jazz; would you like a glass of wine with that?
