Intr0beatz, a turntablist at heart, started off as the beat producer for Icelandic hip-hop group Forgotten Lores in the late '90s. As time passed by, he transitioned from his early hip-hop roots to explore a fusion of chill-out, deep house, funk, and hip-hop in his 2011 release, "Half Time" on Möller Records. This marked a significant shift in his production style, leading him to delve further into house music, drawing inspiration from the jazz, funk, and soul elements that influenced the golden age of hip-hop.

Retromigration makes a welcome return to WOLF Music following up from Straight Foxin, his debut album on the label. For Cloudin he presents six deep cuts that once again showcase the German producer talents and abilities. Dusty samples sit alongside original compositions, hitting that musical sweet spot.
