We continue our podcast series with one of the ambassadors of minimal and microhouse in Colombia. It's Mauro Calderón delivering a hi hat twisting, percussion grooving minimalistic set. 

He was born in Cali, Colombia and is currently based in Bogotá. He is one of the masterminds behind Menos Uno Micro club. One of the most representative underground clubs in the country. Owner of Ipsum Records label born in Germany that has outstanding vinyl as well as digital releases. His sounds are wrapped in experimental environments and are complemented with groovy and strong drums, ideal for a fun musical trip.

Locked-In is an event and record label based in Amsterdam. Born in 2019 from the desire to put on intimate parties and keep the dance-floor locked to quality underground grooves. Built purely with the motivation to continue delivering and supporting dance music by pushing the locked-in soundscape through artists that are close to our hearts. Both the event and label are intended to welcome an audience whether experienced or not, to discover together the subtleties that electronic music has to offer.

During Club Roto at Het Sieraad in Amsterdam, DJs and producers Dragu and William Caycedo, who share Colombian roots and a love for old school grooves, came together for a B2B set. Despite having crossed paths in the underground scene for years, this occasion marked the first time the two artists had the opportunity to showcase their musical dialogue. The resulting set was filled with solid bass lines and 'gangsta beats' showcasing the duo's great musical chemistry and leaving a lasting impression on the crowd."
