The original Steve Anderson mix of Xanadu lasts for 10.5 minutes (including quite a bit of dialogue). The Sydney DJ David Hiscock painstakingly went through and edited out all the dialogue and then I believe they sent the new audio over to the states and re-cut the video ...to go with his new edit. I spent a while listening to both versions when I got it and was very impressed with what David had managed to do. There was just one little piano riff that he missed (at 1'28) which i have put in (wasn't sure if I could get it to fit in but it does lol). Anway, hope you all enjoy it...


Xanadu - DMC Remix (Edit by David Hiscock) (7.53)

The acapella is from a recording session prior to 1982, even though the song remained unreleased until Fleetwood Mac's 2003 "Say You Will," for which Nicks recorded a new vocal. The consensus among fans: 1982>2003. Lindsey Buckingham's over-worked production and terrible arrangement sounded like sabotage those familiar with the scorching versions Nicks turned in years prior.

I love what Axwell did with this. Music & Lyrics by Stevie Nicks, who re-recorded the vocal for Deep Dish. The song was a Billboard Hot  #1 hit for Nicks off of Fleetwood Mac's "Rumours" album.

This Time I Know It's for Real is a song by American singer-songwriter Donna Summer, released on February 13, 1989, as the first single from her 14th studio album, Another Place and Time (1989), by Atlantic Records and Warner Bros. Records. Like the rest of the album, the song was written and produced by the British Stock Aitken Waterman (SAW) team, though Summer also had a hand in writing this song. I remixed it for listening pleasure only and mean no disrespect to the original version, Enjoy !!!!!!
