Facing a new low, I was battling on my own
Surrounded by blessings yet I felt more alone
And isolated, sweet phrases of hope felt fabricated
Felt peace of mind during suicidal contemplation
Gained the strength to carry on through ideation
I just want my music to give me some type of validation
That I'm worth it, a God given purpose
I'm tired of the hurting
Every day I convince myself don't close the curtains
Even though I'm determined
The world doesn't need me I'm certain
Most of my mind lacks discernment
Devil's advocate thoughts, man they feel so fervent
Negativity in my mind keeps on churning
Just try one more time, promise is worth it
