Cali definitely has a reputation. For those of us who didn’t grow up there, it’s a place we dream about going. There this sort of vibe about it. You see it in the movies & you hear about from your friends.

Names like “Pismo” , “Malibu” , “Joshua Tree”.. they just stick with you...

These names mean different things to different people. For me, it sounded like a 3rd door... - an option that wasn’t listed.. An escape from the real world where you could surf and ski in the same day... A place where the seasons don’t come round & the time moves slow...
