“This set was really special for us, as to be asked to play for a label like Bedrock this early in our careers is always going to be a big deal! It brings our typical blend of melody and groove - the Studio 338 terrace is such an inspiring place to play anyways with the afternoon sun streaming through the glass roof, and the room gradually filled up as people arrived so the tracks build up in energy level throughout the mix. Channan Hanif is a London born and based producer of Pakistani heritage who's been quietly building a name for himself over the last year or so with the likes of respected DJ/producers Laurent Garnier, Hardt Antoine, Sahar,  REj, Samantha Loveridge, Faide and Auggie playing out his tracks. 

His debut ep was recently released on Spanish label Anims and his track 'Gimme Some!' has been tearing up dancefloors worldwide. His next release is a 3 track EP coming out on Works of Intent’s Emotional Weaponry label next month.

In this episode, hear Channan voice his opinion on the current London club scene, talk about what life was like growing up as a teenager in the Pakistan city of Karachi and how a former guest on this podcast has been an inspiration and mentor to him.
