@joe-miller is an English-born beatmonger, influenced in equal measure by heaving clubs and the earthy melancholy of forests. He grew up in Australia, where he learned to craft sets that are whimsical and left-field, evoking a sense of place. 
Joe has released music on All Day I Dream and Bedrock (with Jamie Stevens), Dream Culture, Hoomidaas, Magician on Duty, Nie Wieder Schlafen, Sag & Tre and Traum Schallplatten. His tracks have been supported by Sasha, Guy J, Nick Warren, Mira and Atish.

As well as playing headline sets in Miami, New York, Saigon and Tokyo, Joe has crafted studio mixes for the Balance Series, Flow Sessions, DJ Mag and Deeper Sounds (streaming on British Airways and Emirates flights).

If you're not a newbie in the never ending game of beatmatching and scratching, you probably know Valentino doesn't really understand the meaning of words limit, border and purism. He is one of the founding fathers of Slovenian techno, but that never really stops him from throwing one of his gourmet house sets. Or anything in between that he finds fresh at the time.

Valentino established his label Jesus Loved You in 2005 at the same time as he changed his music style. From big time events and techno stages back to the bellowed underground. Many interviewers popped the question ˝ if he prefers producing or playing˝ and Valentino shows no hesitation with answering this one. He enjoys both, of course- but he is first of all a DJ! In these past years we had the chance to see him evolve musically into one of the most respected underground vinyl DJs. 

Nevertheless he dedicated the last 2010 months to studio work and production of his first artist album. Judging by dance floor reactions on his South American tour in beginning 2011 the album will be a success. The promotional mix with the album tracks should be out in 2011.

It was such a beautiful day there on the shoreline over looking San Francisco Bay.  I feel this mix really captures the vibes we conjured up that day.

Powel - When We Dip Radio #30 (ADE Special) [13.10.17]

Who ever tried a Hugo will agree: it’s probably one of the most refreshing cocktails, ever! And today no one less than Berlin based All Day I Dream producer Powel grabs the cocktail shakers and serves you an exceptional interpretation of the cocktail.  

Powel is using particularly delicious elderflowers, which gives the Hugo this distinct, refreshing flavour: deep, through and through, dreamy but still moving and, very multifaceted. It has a wonderful build-up and joyfully reminds us of deep house in the earlier days.  
Powel is part of various musical projects but his current focus lies on producing and DJing. His releases on labels such as Keller, Wunderbar Recordings, Fina Records and All Day I Dream shortly catapulted him to the heights of the global scene. 

Please join us in welcoming Powel on board and have a Hugo! We extremely enjoyed this “summer in a glass” and are pretty sure you will do as well!

For the last episode in this year’s anniversary month of August we’re happy to add a special treat to the Schirmchendrink menu: A Spanish version of the Mai Tai – mixed by the terrific music producer Pablo Bolivar and consisting of releases on his own label Seven Villas.

Born in Santander, Spain, in 1981, Pablo took his first steps into the music business by studying Sound Engineering at Barcelona’s Crash institute. Following this, he worked as a sound engineer for a number of years following his graduation in 1998.

After releasing his first LP on Barcelona’s „Regular“, the Spaniard has gone from strength to strength, with further releases on imprints such as Desolat, Culprit, Einmusika and, of course, on his own labels Seven Villas or Avantroots.  

There is often a deep, mystical feeling locked inside Pablo’s music. He once said that this comes from his homeland, and its grey and rainy days, the beautiful green landscapes and endless summers. And this is beautifully transported through his music, like in his latest work, a co-production with his fellow countryman Squire on Lee Burridge’s TRYBESof.

Besides music production, the name Pablo Bolivar also stands for meticulously crafted DJ performances: A combination of his his own mesmerizing Techno cuts with records unearthed from his regular excursions crate digging as well as from other artists he admires.
