Frequent collaborators Robin Schellenberg & Rauschhaus present the ‘I Am Not My Ego’ EP on When We Dip XYZ. On this two-tracker, the seasoned producers serve a masterclass in melodic techno, fusing creative transitions and ambiguous emotions into a dark ambience. 

The title track, ‘I Am Not My Ego’, begins its pace with ominous bass stabs and a nimbling arp. An hypnotizing synth line then adds to the track's daunting vibe, as sighing ad-libs release the ever-building tension. 

On ‘Rise Of Thoughts’, the dynamic groove goes back and forth with its assorted counter-melodies. The hopeful progression of the breakdown leads into a stripped-back drop topped-off by industrial textures and effects.

The openining track Igray is a powerful tool for the dancefloor - slick programming and oceans of atmosphere make this a stand out track on an EP full of moments.

Label boss Steve Bug takes a swing at it with his remix, and delivers yet another masterclass in remixing - accentuating elements from the original to create a new vibe.

New Moon is a co-production with Yasen (Yasen Nedelchev, also from Bulgaria) and showcases a burgeoning partnership - the track is fully primed for maximum dancef- loor euphoria.

The latest release from Ruben Karapetyan’s RKP welcomes Matt Oliver to the label for his debut EP. On the strength of early tracks such as 2021’s ‘Spirit’ and ‘Missing’, the Brazilian artist quickly caught the interest of progressive music fans. Having success marrying the nostalgic grooves of the genre with emotional melodies and club-effective rhythms, Matt became a newcomer to watch. The next two calendar years would see Matt continue to perfect his craft, and in turn land standout projects via long-standing imprints such as BCSA, Mango Alley, The Purr and Transensations. Now, as one Brazil’s top progressive house prospects, Matt adds RKP to his resume with ‘Collison’, alongside remixes from The Wash and Anton MAKe.

The first interpretation of ‘Collision’ is provided by The Wash who makes his label debut. As a DJ first, Austrian artist The Wash has spent nearly two decades in the electronic music underground. A ten-year stretch as a DJ would find the Vienna resident programming music for some of his country’s trendiest venues, before eventually embarking on a career as a producer in 2016. The next seven years would see The Wash build an enviable portfolio, highlighted by releases via Forensic , UV and Mango Alley, the latter of which operates as his primary home. With a contribution to Global Underground’s ‘Select’ series to begin the year, The Wash now adds RKP to his resume with a huge interpretation of ‘Collision’. Opting for a dubbier, more groove-centric approach, The Wash aims squarely at the dancefloor, taking the track into subversive territory, as haunting overlays and deconstructed sonics converge for an otherworldly experience, while an acid-tinged break fully saturates your senses onwards to a trippy finale.

Renaissance welcomes Notre Dame back to the label having previously remixed Mr Morek‘s 'Massive Landing'. Brimming with youthful energy and creativity, the Parisian producer and DJ has also released on Three Six Zero, Stil Vor Talent and Diynamic, not least his breakout ‘Yumi’ on the latter, so Renaissance is very excited to get him back onboard. His other accolades include Pete Tong's ‘Essential New Tune’ and touring all over the world, playing at a variety of influential clubs and festivals that includes Cercle Festival, Zamna, Space Miami, Womb Tokyo, KOKO London and more… 'Geisha' grew out of a deep fascination with Japanese culture, in particular the artisans from which it takes its name and the country’s renowned landscapes; it’s a perfect musical snapshot of the orient, which also features an ‘Intro Mix’, that’ll no doubt secure a place at the start of many a set. Cioz takes the remix honours, injecting serious, melodic techno weight to the track; undoubtedly a sumo counterpoint destined for peaktime dojos.
