Hailing from the wastelands of Oman, the duo behind SWEATY PALMS are putting the middle east on the map again.

Look: Their families never traveled much, and the biggest trips of their childhood were before they started school. Great.Their mother worked in the beauty parlor that was in the storefront of their humble kasbah. Their father, who didn’t want a job, was stuck with the damned kids and dragged them seven days a week to various racetracks within driving distance of the local fata morgana. 

Their dad was, in all the ways imaginable, sloth personified. In his classical discussion of the subject in the "Summa Theologica", Aquinas termed Sloth, or acedia, one of the seven capital sins. But come on, isn't that kind of extreme, death for something as lightweight as Sloth? Perhaps the future of Sloth will lie in sinning against what now seems increasingly to define us -- technology. 

SWEATY PALMS get some gas, they get some ass, and everyone is smoking grass, and if they want to they sure can pass. Drivin’ drivin’ all alone, with no one no one on their back. Just the two of them alone, in their big black Cadillac.

I have no words for the feeling that night at at Afrika Burn gave me. A deep gratitude overcame me when I realized what the dance floor had been evolving to during the set and a profund tribal feeling overcame me when I saw what is possible to create when people work together with a similar vision of creativity and love. The Spirit Train and Hauptbahnhof Crew are the people that brought me to AfrikaBurn for the first time last year, thank you millions of times for giving me that honor to perform again for you guys and the brilliant idea of connecting both sound systems together. I had again the best gig of my life (to me)at  the best party in the world I could ever have imagined.;) Thank you!!!
