Opposite the usual chaos of the Burn, something extraordinary happened that morning.  Everything felt intentional, the perfect weather, the surreal lighting, and a crowd whose energy was beautifully aligned in the same direction. The Maxa Deer, a breathtaking living creature glowing with powerful presence, seemed to channel something beyond this world, and our crew was ready. We gathered every drop of that sunrise magic and poured it into the music, letting the vibrations carry us all deeper. The moment called for a high-energy, powerful set, and that’s exactly what it became.

Infinite gratitude to the Maxa and Pizzine family. This set was a reminder that sometimes, the universe truly does conspire in your favor. <3

Double Touch is a live electronic duo collaboration between Sydney/Los Angeles based Classical Pianist/Composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen. Despite their distinct individual careers, they blend their two worlds together to form a unique mix of acoustic melodies, percussion and electronic sounds. Ranging from ambient soundscapes to Organic/Latin/Afro House, Double Touch weave their musicianship, virtuosity and contagious energy into their live performances.

Double Touch are official All Day I Dream artists with multiple releases and performances at All Day I Dream events globally. Their shows are a unique blend of a traditional DJ set and live performance, adding live keys and drums, improvising and creating new directions in their music during their live sets. This Wave Room episode is the recording of my sunrise set from Katerblau in Berlin in July 2025.
it was my first time playing there, right after my friends Chambord at 6am, the energy was so warm and open, it really gave me the freedom to play around and step outside my usual comfort zone.

Berlin just hits different. The way it embraces artistic expression is really special. And Katerblau itself is such a dreamy venue, right on the water, partly on an old boat.
