About the EP :
It was very important for us to go more in depth, to put our pop background to the side whilst keeping our signature sound. That was maybe the biggest challenge whilst producing “Musik 3”. We are very happy with the result” – Super Flu

Hailing from Halle/Saale Germany, Felix Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz have created unquestionably one of dance music’s most unique acts. Fusing together a spectrum of influences which covers everything from classic house to orchestral melodies, the duo continuously push and pull the boundaries that stand before them to suit their artistic vision. With 2017 fully in their crosshairs, Super Flu proudly announce their forthcoming album titled ‘Musik 3’. An exquisite listening experience like no other. 

With the remixes of „Musik 3“ they yet again demonstrate how beautiful the melting of different genres and characteristics can unfold, and their selection of artists is as varied as it is on point. Having revelled in the glory of its original and then marvelled at Solomun’s summer smash remix of ‚mygut‘, which also features here; it’s time for Super Flu to unveil ‚Musik 3+‘

On the quest for re-invention they invited artists and friends working in all sound spectres, ranging from artists that inspire them such as Suara’s label boss Coyu, head of Stil For Talent, Oliver Koletzki, Deetron and Mathias Kaden to their Monaberry family members Viktor Talking Machine, Cioz, Ole Biege and Tim Engelhardt.

Also you find magnificent and characteristic tracks from Sobek, Roy Rosenfeld and Guy Mantzur, Ninetoes and Daniel Stefanik, soundtracking new musical adventures.

DSF - Always There

LA based DJ and producer Sam Jaspersohn debuts on Monog with a top-notch remix on Reborn. Sam was exposed to electronic music when he was 15 and he began to mix with vinyl since then. His career soon blossomed with a coast-to-coast following. He has received praise for tracks like Islands which featured on Digweed’s Bedrock 18-Signals compilation in 2016. His works have also been championed by a host of other top artists and he has appeared on top labels around the world. On the remix Sam takes us down the rabbit hole with a wondrous display of musical composition made up of deep, dark and lush tones. A solid drum section sets up a smooth rhythm while mesmerizing pads and sub shaking basses go to work. Mary’s vocal rings true throughout adding a beautiful organic flavour. An excellent track that is not to be missed.

@facundo-mohrr is a name very familiar to those following the deep and melodic house scene. The Argentinian producer is amongst the All Day I Dream elite, with a knack for progressive melodies and melancholic tinges to his signature groovy productions. Facundo has taken the edge off Hoki’s dark original, bringing the track into summer festival territory with a beautiful melodic remix. He’s lengthened the arrangement, placing emphasis on Brent’s seductive vocals while adding a proper build and kick for dance floor hysteria

'A long time favourite in his native Turkey, Gadi Mitrani is a unique and prodigious talent. Famed for his signature deep, tech and melodic heavy sets, Gadi is a DJ notable for his versatility. It is his productions though that has seen him announce himself to a global audience and his discography reads like a roll call of the best record labels going around: Kompakt, Sudbeat, and Plattenbank, just to name a few. Now, he adds Dawn till Dusk to that list via a beautiful five track EP that showcases his incredible talent for producing emotive and thoughtful music. 

The Intro Mix of 'WILLING' is a perfect example of what Mitrani does best: melodic arrangements designed to engage. A pensive piano line shimmers on top of a warm, deep bass; the ideal foil for an introspective Alan Watts spoken word sample introduced late in the piece. Look no further than this mix for the perfect way to start any DJ set. 

On the original version of 'WILLING', the Alan Watts sample takes centre stage. A very warm 4/4 beat anchors flutes, plucked strings and woodblocks, which slowly builds around Watts' motivating speech. The breakdown is expertly crafted, rising towards an ecstatic release which is inspiring and spiritually relieving in equal measure. 

The After Hours Mix of 'WILLING' is an almost dub version of the original. The energy levels are slightly clipped in favour of a more self contained production. The breakdown is subdued, favouring dance floors which require more reflective moments. 

On 'FOR THE DUST, Gadi Mitrani really flexes his production prowess with an absolute immaculate production of euphoria and sentiment. A melody so divine it feels like you've heard it before is the primary driver of this elegant piece. This is the tune you drop to accentuate your DJ set. 

The groove is turned up to 11 on 'KANTELE', a delightful rhythm infectious with bouncing energy. Xylophonic and kalimba sounds all add up for a highly uplifting ending to a sensational EP.'
