Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. We're very excited to present the remix in full premiere today :)

In the words of the Amsterdam-based producer himself, Baumel explained "I consider Khen one of the most promising new artists in electronic dance music and was blown away by his album. The beauty of “Land of Goshen” lies in his melodic arrangement. I wanted the remix to respect the original and just gave it the club treatment it needed to beam people into outer space.”

Brash, bold, rich in texture and drenched in soul, ‘Hypnotism’ is the lead off single for Glenn Morrison’s forthcoming club album ‘Dark Waters’ due in the fall of 2017.  Reflections and ruminations make for a creative release, and ‘Hypnotism’ builds upon a repeating motif - there are at moments five melodic sublayers working in good harmony.  A simple yet elegant approach with a nod to the psychedelic and goa styles, this release is a small taster of what the album holds for us.  On the B side duties is the brilliant Italian composer Dusty Kid, whose latest addition to the Fall From Grace roster comes at a perfect time, with his intelligent, melodic composition he takes the record into another world with slight hints of Glenn Morrison’s original motif.  Dusty Kid Dub remix is a twisted affair, with the abscence of the melodic arpeggiated layers being replaced with bubbly robotic blip crescendos and disjointed laser squeals.  On the final close of this release is the brilliant artist Morttagua.  A resident at Green Valley and a heavy touring artist in his native country of Brazil, his interpretation of ‘Hypnotism’ is strong for the big venues and loud soundscapes.  Rolling baselines and building melodic motifs stagger throughout the original ‘Hypnotism’ riff and this package has extremely gifted musicians essentially jamming and composing on top of riff after riff after riff.  This release is being serviced through DMDS Promo and Your Army UK with DJ Promo going out on Friday June 16th 2017. Release date is June 23rd 2017. Hailing from Halle/Saale Germany, Felix Thielemann and Mathias Schwarz have created unquestionably one of dance music’s most unique acts. Fusing together a spectrum of influences which covers everything from classic house to orchestral melodies, the duo continuously push and pull the boundaries that stand before them to suit their artistic vision. With 2017 fully in their crosshairs, Super Flu proudly announce their forthcoming album titled ‘Musik 3’. An exquisite listening experience like no other. 

With the remixes of „Musik 3“ they yet again demonstrate how beautiful the melting of different genres and characteristics can unfold, and their selection of artists is as varied as it is on point. Having revelled in the glory of its original and then marvelled at Solomun’s summer smash remix of ‚mygut‘, which also features here; it’s time for Super Flu to unveil ‚Musik 3+‘

On the quest for re-invention they invited artists and friends working in all sound spectres, ranging from artists that inspire them such as Suara’s label boss Coyu, head of Stil For Talent, Oliver Koletzki, Deetron and Mathias Kaden to their Monaberry family members Viktor Talking Machine, Cioz, Ole Biege and Tim Engelhardt.

Also you find magnificent and characteristic tracks from Sobek, Roy Rosenfeld and Guy Mantzur, Ninetoes and Daniel Stefanik, soundtracking new musical adventures.

New from Guy J’s exceptional imprint, Lost & Found comes two original tracks from Dutch wonder, Budakid due for release on January 26th.

Signed to Einmusika, All Day I Dream and Last Night On Earth among others has helped the plucky young Berlin- based Dutchman to ascend the heights of the Progressive scene in a matter of years. Self taught and influenced by everyone from Todd Terje to Caribou means that Budakid isn’t weighed down by certain musical conformities and is free to create delicate, flowing melodica that has gained the interest of well-known media outlets such as Deep House Amsterdam, FAZE magazine and Thump.

Leading the way is ‘Memories’, an elegantly paced deep progressive number sparse in percussion but packed full of emotive nuance. The ebb and flow of twinkly arps and warming pads transport the listener far away from their troubles over a blissful six and a half minutes.

Flip over and ‘On An Empty Page’ elicits a different emotional response; no less visceral, no less powerful. Growing from meandering pads and cold sonics, it warms over the course of the track as new motifs add subtle layers of emotion.

The first track needs little introduction. Formentera has been a staple tune Lee Burridge’s sets - and has become the most train-spotted tune in Tale and Tone’s history. Not surprising, as this one is truly unlike anything else - a true original born from a collaboration between established artists Edu Imbernon and Los Suruba.
