I played from 1:00-4:00am inside of the Reactor project and was really feeding off of the high energy from the dancefloor during the entire 3 hours -- it was such an epic and unforgettable night. What more to say about Adriatique that hasn't already been said. Their mixsets are staples of the Cityfox podcasts for obvious reason. But this, a live recording from The Cityfox Experience: Enclave on April 5, 2014 in Brooklyn, demonstrates exactly why they've ascended so quickly to becoming favorites the world over to those fortunate enough to hear them live. Taking the decks after an opening from Naveen G (Listen to his full set, here: bit.ly/NGCF2014), they jumped right in, building pressure, the perfect anticipation for what they then unleashed. The spring was sprung, and it was entirely too much fun.

“Full Circle” is a hypnotic Afro House journey by NÝOKO – a celebration of rhythm, spirit, and sound rooted in African traditions and Swahili cultural expression, elevated by deep electronic pulse.

From sunrise to moonlight, the album flows through tribal percussion, soulful vocals in Swahili and English, melodic flutes, and raw ancestral drums. Traditional instruments like Zeze, Ngoma, Chivoti, Kayamba, and Ilimba are woven into modern basslines and slow-burning grooves, creating a dance ritual that is both ancient and futuristic.

Full Circle unites the physical and the spiritual, the organic and the electronic. It’s music to move to – and to be moved by.

This is not just a set.
It’s a cycle. A rhythm without beginning or end.
This is Full Circle.

My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one. Among the very few artists to ever surface from the Buenos Aires underground music scene, Lucas Uberto aka Ubbah has slowly but steadily made a name for himself in the electronic music genre.

Hailing from a small town 30 km up north of his country's capital city, Ubbah's success is deeply rooted in his perseverance and love for the craft. He was born in June, 1994, and by the age of ten he had already developed a passion for several different musical styles as well as completely mastered playing the piano. It wasn't until 2008, however, that he discovered his true calling: electronic music. Deep, techno, dark and hypnotic sounds have left an imprint on him that has served as inspiration for his very own productions.

His first single, 'San Francisco Murderer', released in 2014, first brought him widestream appeal. And it was his 2016 single 'Apogee', released by Parquet Recordings, that allowed him to break into Beatport's Top 100 and gained him the support of popular DJ's all over the globe. He has played the biggest clubs in Buenos Aires, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany, Colombia, Bolivia, and is on the verge of starting Mid East and North-American tours.

He received support from artists such as Solomun, Tale Of Us, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Oliver Koletski, Fideles, Kevin de Vries, Undercatt and Magdalena between others.
