Lucas Zárate is a young Dj / producer born in 2001 in the city of Tucumán, north of Argentina, since 2019 he began to be interested in the world of electronic music and his first steps as a DJ.
2020 was a year of experimentation with music genres like Techno and Melodic Techno.
In 2021 he realized that what he really liked and was passionate about were melodic and deep sounds like Progressive House, and Deep House, finally staying in these genres to work in depth.
He has released thousands of views on platforms such as Deep House Sweden (Switzerland), Progressive House Argentina, Underground bloom records (Israel).
Currently his releases are sealed for 2022, on labels such as Three Records UK (United Kingdom), Droid9SA (Argentina), Balkan Connection SA (Argentina)
His great influences are Hernán Cattaneo, Dmitry Molosh, Ezequiel Arias, Simón Vuarambon, Kamilo Sanclemente, Nick Warren among other great artists of the progressive scene.

Laconia features collaborations with fellow producers Cioz and Cook Strummer, as well as a special apparition by Sam’s paternal figure playing the Oud on Mirage. The tracks explore a diverse array of dispositions, from groovy up-warmers such as Mangata or Louna to more lively dancefloor aggregators such as Kamala Bani, on to the deeply polarizing, whirlwind synth dinger Guz or the more experimental self-evident Not Much To Say.

A novel detail makes an appearance on Je te vois, an acoustic electronic dance number with poetic lyrics tenderly sung in French for the first time. The artist’s romantic side also shows through the mystical elements interspersed throughout, from the spellbinding Encanto to the dreamy soundscapes of Atreyu, named after the famous German fantasy book character.

Thanks to a modest key riff and more cosmic effects, Aubade lends its meaning of “greeting in the sun” to the atmosphere, rounding off the release on an incandescent note.
