Monumental times have arrived for Steyoyoke Recordings, as they venture into unchartered waters. This new project accumulates for years of hard work and marks the release of their very first album titled ‘Equilibrium’. The Steyoyoke artists are united within a unique concept, that utilises the four classical elements of fire, air, water and earth, bringing you a creative expression that reflects a state of balance between art, music and the natural elements. Each track is an original production, however they are grouped accordingly to symbolise a particular element that represents the tracks sound and vibe. Titans of the industry, D-Nox has headed Sprout since inception in 2003, while touring heavily as a solo DJ. His music has graced some of the biggest labels on the planet such as Bedrock, Stil Vor Talent and Balance Music, to name a few.

Equally cemented in the scene, Stereo Underground, a leading figure of the Israeli new school runs Tel Aviv's BPM College, releasing on high profile labels such as Einmusika, Lost & Found, and UV, headlining events around the world from Amsterdam to Sao Paulo.

‘Space Fly’ marries the duos no-holds-barred style opening with a joyous ‘80’s inspired beat and Moroder bassline and developing into a powerful mid set bruiser. Further boosted by Bladerunner-esque synths and an instantly recognisable riff, this will be a staple of your sets for the rest of the year.

It’s not an everyday release we have this time on Truesounds Music. We got this demo package straight from the Indonesian capital, and after road testing it for a while, we were happy to sign it.

Nowadays it is a big challenge to produce something extraordinary in the highly saturated melodic house and techno genre, but Apsara managed to do that! Welcome on board miss!

Another cool thing about the release is, that it is a great example of how female artists are not only successful behind the decks, but also when it comes to producing.

The three-track EP contains three outstanding melodic house & techno originals, and they don’t really require any introduction. You decide if we were right or not.

We wish great success in the future for Apsara. There is no doubt you will hear from her again!

PREMIERE: Apsara - Bayle (Original Mix) [Truesound Music]

With Yolumuz, his second release on Lowbit Records, Tali Muss tastefully combines world instruments and ambitious sound design to create a unique musical mosaic.

On the title track, the musician stays faithful to his Azerbaijani roots, sitting at the crossroads of Western and Eastern influences. The DJ and producer, which has previously held the #1 spot on Beatport’s progressive house hype chart with his 2018 tune “Irreversible”, incorporates oriental drums to the track, which are complimented by the high-flown lead synth. This feeling of union amongst different origins is also accentuated by the interactions between the thick, omnipresent bassline and the joyful organic sounding flute.

On “Yalla” the artist, which has seen his work recognized by heavyweights such as Stan Kolev and Gareth Emery, crafts a hypnotizing melody which rides unto a rollercoaster of tension and release. The song is scattered with ascents and descents of different natures, most notably the long rise which sees the piece stripped and built back-up in a striking crescendo.

As for the remixes, Sonic Union and Hannes Wiehager team up to deliver their first common outing on Lowbit. The remix is a straightforward track with a constant high level of energy complemented by a weaving vocal sample and an evolving lead synth.

Finally, Highjacks, wrap up the release with a remix in tone with its musical identity. Coming off their successful “Venus” EP on Lowbit earlier this year, they construct aerial chords which caress the ears as the ravey bass supports the whole arrangement, proving once more that unlikely associations are a key to generate interesting emotions.
