UK mainstay Denney steps up to Rekids, backed with remixes by Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Denney's name is synonymous with quality, with previous productions landing on labels such as 8bit Records, Crosstown Rebels, and Nothing Else Matters. For his latest release, Denney teams up with London-based actress and singer Charlotte Riby to craft ‘Catch The Heat’ for Radio Slave’s Rekids, backed with two killer remixes from Nic Fanciulli and Frankey & Sandrino.

Across 'Catch The Heat' Riby's vocals bring a touch of old-school class to a warm and soulful House track, steeped in New York history with fresh production flourishes that are sure to make it an anthem this summer and beyond.

On the flip is Nic Fanciulli’s remix, the Saved Records boss, who turns the original into a more techno-leaning cut with the vocals taking on a gospel quality over pulsing drums. German duo Frankey & Sandrino’s interpretation rounds out the release with a dramatic trip dripping with elegance that will have the dance floor in raptures.

A track that was heard everywhere from the big gun sets at festivals to the dingy backrooms of clublands underworld-months before it officially came out-Shame Cube caught the ear of the more intelligent modern clubber with its unmistakably Sian style vocal creeping into a densely textured mash of beats and bass wobble.It marked a segway further into our dark and edgy strobe lit world inhabited solely by Octopus and its henchmen.Having already wrestled into the number 2 spot on Beatport Techno Top 100,we felt it a likely contender for a fan remix contest,and we assigned Marc Houle and Oliver Huntemann the tasks of leading the way with their insanely creative interpretations,plus we opened the doors to hordes of fans to appear on this ep alongside the talented trio of producers,and selected a winner named Philip Lowenbek,who´s truly left field mix won us over with a straight-up adventurous attempt.Outstanding reimaginings of a new school cult classic tune,the mixes harness the vibe and stay true to that disturbingly catchy call to arms vocal ¨when will you look at yourself?¨.

A good few months in the making and were finally happy to release the pack which includes remixes from MidnightMachiine, Dub.C & SecondSelf, MRJ, Cheap Picasso & Evasiv. This particular release offers the full package catering for House, Tech-House, Deep House and still finds the room to bring elements of the trademark Domino fire you've come to love! The two originals 'Hornets' & 'Payback' provoke serious movement on the floor, wonderfully arranged and polished perfectly.

MidnightMachiine were scouted in Africa after the international tour took the Domino team overseas to perform at the all mighty Gloom Festival in Maputo, Mozambique. Now the South African duo have hit the ground running with their infectious and devastating remix of Hornets, carrying similar elements of Kyle Watson we know this will do damage! Up next is the Dub. C & SecondSelf Rework, a full throttle festival workout, where the boys have created a pumping re-edit fit for any peaktime mayhem, third on the Hornets remix package is MRJ, after hearing his work with Golf Clap's Country Club Disco, we had to invite him in on the project and see what he had to offer, and if you enjoy the upbeat energy he is consistently crafting then this is one to check out.. Also on the remix are Cheap Picasso, the Edinburgh based duo have crafted an elegant new take on the energetic original, delving deeper into the mind with winding pads and eery yet beautiful effects. A journey in its own right, and very welcome indeed! Finally Evasiv, one of our homegrown Leeds talents, once again gives 'Hornets' a whole new perspective as his remix builds and builds in all the right places and provides an intense Tech-House big room makeover to finish..

After a short while away from the release schedule, and completing our first international label tour, Domino Effect Records are back with an epic saga of House music, the 'Black Series' will take us up until Winter 2015. First of which is a fantastic debut release from DJOKO..

This captivating, Cologne based artist delivers a hard-hitting blend of well engineered grooves and bass through two fantastic and ultimately energetic original productions, 'Certified Feelin' & 'I Never'. The first is a pacey bass-house stomper and the second, a beautifully arranged organ groove, and both are very essential tracks for a DJ's wallet.

On the remix package we have the defiant Fabio Lendrum, our notorious Ozzi, new kid on the Domino block Ben Bodle & future talent Karl Lewis-Lynch. Fabio's remix of 'Certified Feelin' is a fresh and wonderful take on the original, providing an epic winding synth hook and all the perks that come with a 'Fab' production, Ben's remix of 'I Never' takes us on a rolling Housed up vibe with awesome percussion and infectious rhythm. Karl Lewis-Lynch finalises the EP with an 8 min funk-fuelled roller.

Stepping up to complete the Black Series is one of Domino's most renowned acts, Rare Candy. After smashing their remixes on a number of previous releases including Fabio Lendrum's 'Overtime EP' & S. Jay & Ostertag's 'Foolish EP', they're back once again to serve up the very last of our House & Bass projects, titled the 'Speed Of Sound EP', and this time bringing fire in the form of two unique originals. 'Speed Of Sound' & 'Deep In My Soul' raise the bar, and rightly so, as this will be the last time both Domino Effect & Rare Candy do a release like this. The boys have since gone on to remix for a huge array of major artists with Sony, Warner, Virgin, Universal, AATW, Positiva, RCA, and many many more. The A-side 'Speed Of Sound' brings disjointed organs, filtered basses and twisted vocal cuts, whilst the B-side 'Deep In My Soul' offers up some trademark Candy sounds, and a distinctive familiar sample from 'Funky Green Dogs - Fired Up' and demanding serious movement on the dance floor. We're very happy to end this epic Black Series saga on a high note, so enjoy the 20th Domino Effect release.
