All of us here at All Day I Dream have been super excited about this release for months. Not only does it contain the gorgeous original mix from Maher Daniel and Jon Charnis that has been melting ladies hearts all summer long but we also have quite a superb remix. Luca Bacchetti's Endless label is one of our favorites here and it was only a matter of time until we knew we were going to (gently) prize something special from his musical soul.  

His remix has caused a little bit of a stir. We've been bombarded on a daily basis with requests for it. Well, for all you bombarders, it's finally here. Initially we only sent it out to a tiny handful of friends and family. Dixon and Ame both played it in Panorama Bar on  the same night, and it's been a staple track in Lee Burridge's sets all summer. It never sounded better than at Burning Man festival this year and those lucky enough to have been there will attest to the mystical journey it weaved as it meandered out of the Robot Heart bus's perfect sound system and across the playa. One of it's most memorable moments, so far, for sure. Now it's time for you to create your own magic with it. The hardest decision you'll have to make is deciding which mix to play. Dream on dreamers

Tom Demac emerged midway through the new millennium as a producer and DJ whose ability to straddle various genres and styles with ease have been evident in a colourful and bustling production CV. From early releases on his own Electronique Audio label to singles on acclaimed labels such as Aus Music, liebe*detail, Drumcode and Pets Recordings, Demac has also found a regular home in Hypercolour over the years. "Sink Or Swim" here, oozes elegance from the first kick drum to the very last; a brooding build up of melodic keys and tension building pads swiftly evolves into an expansive and emotive main room floor filler, resplendent with huge gnarly bass hooks and driving drums. German duo andhim give new life to their track ‘Tosch’ by releasing a four track remix pack, tapping fellow countryman Roman Flügel to offer his unique approach.

Transforming the original tune, Flügel pitches the vocal hook deeper and highlights the rolling bass melody, flipping the original with a somewhat retro synth-wave motif. The steady beat lies at the heart of the production, but the euphoric tones lift the track to a blissful state.

Having been andhim’s debut record on their freshly minted Superfriends label, the duo have paid special attention to delivering a stacked collection of remixes. Also on the release is seasoned veteran Acidi Pauli, up and coming Zurich based DJ and producer Jimi Jules and German duo Manuel Tur and Adrian Hoffman under their Clavis alias.

For the first single from a 6-track EP from Montreal's Clarian (who is also one half of Footprintz), the Canadian reached well beyond the border to collaborate with Tel Aviv-born, Madrid-based producer Guy Gerber on "Claire." Gerber has been a major player on Israel's electronic scene since 2006, running his own Supplemental Facts label and infusing traces of minimal techno, tech house, downtempo and deep house in his productions, while remaining singular in his approach. Clarian's vocal contributions were at the heart of Gerber's progressive house-leaning Fabric mix from last year, which joined the likes of Ricardo Villalobos and Omar-S of artists that turned in single-artist mixes to the series. "Claire" starts amid a queasy vocal snippet (with Clarian's French whisper lodged in at the midpoint) and threatens to go darker and deeper. But a steady handclap and glimmering melodic line uplifts and casts light across this seven-minute track.
