Emerging as their first release on Manual Music, But U marks a striking introduction to the label's timeless electronic music legacy. Featuring Rana Iravani's smooth, sensual vocals over a warm, mystique-scented sonic landscape, the track channels the spirit of classic deep house with modern flair.

Born in San Francisco and raised in Dubai, Rana's global upbringing and training in drama at NYU infused her artistry with storytelling and emotional depth. As a DJ, producer, singer, and songwriter based in New York, she brings cinematic nuance and musical sophistication to every project.

Little is publicly known yet about Janne Johannes, making this debut all the more intriguing. Together, Janne and Rana deliver a collaboration steeped in mystery, a synergy of subtle vocal phrasing and atmospheric arrangement.

Based in Los Angeles, California, British-born DJ/producer Nick Newman has established himself as one of the most original and deeply-textured artists in the electronic music scene. This edit of one of the original Bladerunner themes has been on my list to do for a long time. I actually got to know it through a Hardstyle remix of the same score that was made around 10 years ago. I have a tonne of adolescent memories accompanied by that version, of which many happy ones but a sad one as well. Making this version under my Deeparture moniker has been a big therapeutic session for me. I hope it will do some dancefloor damage during those special moments! This one is for you, Thomas.

Huminal have spreading their raw harmonious sounds for a couple of years now. After releases on widely loved labels such as Einmusika, Proton Music, ICONYC and Mango Alley to name a few, the Dutch duo now make their return to Manual Music's MNL subsidiary.
'Vertigo' sees the guys in their element, presenting two fresh genre pushing cuts that are sure to appeal to many DJ's and their crowds alike. Whereas the title track is a more in-your-face melodic techno-ish peak time monster, 'Rebreather' is a bit deeper and is sure to please the progressive house lovers on this lovely planet of ours.
On remix duties one of our favorite Colombian artists, Fernando Olaya, transforms 'Vertigo' into something smooth and sensual in a way only he can do. Deep and dreamy, but uplifting and moving at the same time. Seven and a half minutes of pure bliss to finish this fine single off in style.
