It's with great pleasure to have this remix performed by another producer we've been admiring of late from Athens, Greece Thodoris Triantafillou.Recognized by peers and fans through a stream of compelling releases on labels such as Chapter 24, ATLANT, Connaisseur Recordings,Perplex and Nazca to name a few, it's the composition of the philosophy behind a record, the raw energy that electronic formats have to offer, and an exploration of the inner self that makes Thodoris's productions stand out amongst the rest. Hicky & Kalo's Montreal-based imprint Plaisirs Sonores Records continues its rapid ascension to the fore of the scene with a lethal new two track EP led the label bosses themselves. The original cut from the Canadian pair is titled 'Astre', and it comes strapped an inimitable remix from ethereal techno master and founder of Steyoyoke; Soul Button.

'Astre' is a memorable melodic anthem with a signature groovy rhythm, it's certain to light up the dance-floor.

Since 2016, Soul Button has only ever released music via his own label, so it is a very special occasion as Hicky & Kalo welcome him to the ranks of Plaisirs Sonores. His remix of 'Astre' is a beautiful dreamy piece with angelic bells and hypnotic shakers.

The German DJ and producer Alexander Gerlach started his project Niconé in 2007 in order to combine his two passions, fashion and music. Over the last few years, he has collaborated with Sascha Braemer, Philip Bader and many others. His music fits no usual genre, it is much more a feeling. The feeling of when the dancefloor, full of strangers, unites to become a homogeneous mass, dancing to a common beat. Niconé achieves this once again with his EP ‘All Time High’, staying true to his credo ’it´s all about conveying a feeling’.
