" The Gardens of Babylon is a growing international brand based in Amsterdam who specialize in full experience events that combine music, spirituality, and visual effects worldwide. 

Launching the label in 2019, they have quickly cemented their position as a quality purveyor of House music.   Omri Guetta is a leading Israeli DJ/producer who over the last 15 years has built an amazing back catalogue. Named # 1 Underground DJ in 2017 at the Tel Aviv Music Awards, his magical sound is soaked in emotion and his label Frau Blau continues to impress. Fellow Israeli, Omer Tayar, has an equally impressive career in music. The guitarist and DJ-producer has been showcasing his exquisite, diverse music selection at the leading venues in Tel Aviv and beyond. Additionally, he has been spearheading the music production department at the highly respected music school Rimon. 

The two recently joined forces for an endless number of upcoming releases and an exciting live project.  Opening the EP with delicate melodics and sparse percussion, ‘Ever So’ begins its journey with class and style. Building in intensity over the mid-section, the main break provides a moment’s rest before spiky synths drive the final section home hard. ‘Trip In’ is a deeper excursion. Hollow pads and percussive FX keep the groove deep and attention grabbing. Mutating main lines cause an explosion of interest midway and become delightfully musical.   

On remix duties, German DJ extraordinaire and Younion boss, Re.You takes ‘Ever So’ down a darker percussive path, focusing on the emotional side drawing out the tension with clever sound design, while Portuguese artist, Xinobi, adds his substantial studio skill to ‘Trip In’ making it even deeper and melodically rich.  "

the main track on this release by @deroos. 

this track came to fruition being an experiment to see reach an authentic sound to reflect myself. this whole track is fully composed, arranged, recorded and written by me and it is a true expression of the artistic side of me. 

i describe this a deep ritualistic and mysterious track, with a forward motion, to takes the listener on a journey. the lyrics and vocals represent an emotion that i find hard to grasp at times, being alone, feeling alone but yet surround by energy & feelings all the time. 

this is my first expression within music, i truly hope you enjoy it.

MTK060 presents a release from our friend and one of the nicest guys in the business Amir Telem, who has made a name for himself in recent years with his ethnic influenced releases on labels such as Kindisch, Bar 25, The Soundgarden. On his release with Motek, “The Journey Within EP”, Amir is showing a different side of himself as an artist, with a minimal-ish, stripped back ‘Journey Within’ and a dancefloor driven breakbeat track ‘Be’.  
 
The remixes come from rising UK underground producers Pattern Tusk and Dharma. With his re-interpretation of ‘Journey Within’, Pattern Tusk brings in the Romanian Minimal influences, whilst sticking to the spirit of the original. Dharma gives us two remixes of ‘Be’, with the NU Disco influenced breaks remix and a leftfield Drum and Bass interpretation.

After a variety of EP's, the album and some exclusive NFT's released via the RCDSHP platform, we're happy to show you the second of what will be four remix singles for Jaap Ligthart's debut album 'Itaka'.

Following the strong reworks by Skenna and Jochem Hamerling on the first EP we now present two label debutants on remix duties; FOTN and Hady Tarek.

FOTN of Diynamic / Global Underground fame takes on 'Love Will Unite', one of the albums most populair songs. He opens up his synths and turns the song into an emotive roaring peak time euphoric banger!

Egypt based Hady Tarek reworks another trademark piece of the album as he flips 'But We Can Run' from a bass heavy original into a more easy going funky dance floor friendly tune. Super effective this one!
