This track is released 4th April on Traum on vinyl and digital as part of the Metaphysical EP. It's quite heavy on the effects, with a long wierd noise intro just for the craic! I've been starting quite a few sets with it recently, but if you want to mix it I guess you just have to start a couple of minutes in.

Madloch’s Sound Avenue imprint continues their Bandcamp Exclusives with the 2022 edition of their Summer Sampler Series. As a long running label tradition, Sound Avenue’s seasonal sampler series has been a landing spot for artists across the globe. A broader vision has seen the imprint and series evolve, now encompassing a cornucopia of sounds and styles. While still firmly rooted in all spectrums of house music, the Belgian imprint frequently touches on ambient, electronica, dub techno and more; resulting in a cohesive sound that is both colourful and contemporary. Perhaps best suited to a free-thinking platform such as Bandcamp, the 2022 edition of the Summer Sampler series has allowed label boss Madloch to stretch his creative vision one notch further, inviting Darren Bray, Facundo Borras, J.P. Darren Bray - When You Go [Sound Avenue]

Some time ago we had a utopian vision that seemed impossible in an increasingly saturated market where the music business was taking the strength and direction where many artists were betraying their talent to sell more records and become popular.

Back then, two enthusiasts from their little corner in Paris decided to create a record label to give some positive air to all the pollution and toxicity we were living, a label where we could all contribute in a positive way to help children in the poorest regions of the world.

Who are you? Thanks but no thanks, we often heard, but over time the idea became a reality and with the help of many artists who without asking for anything in return did not hesitate for even a second to be part of this project Lost on You was born and that vision became our mission.

Today, after 5 years of foundation the effort of all led us to build a school in Sierra Leone where 207 children study happily since September 2021 in 6 well-equipped classrooms, with teachers well-trained by our organization and collaborators. Going a step further for this year 2023 we will open two new schools in Liberia in partnership with SoundCloud, but none of this would be possible without all the people involved in our project, from the artists to the media who help us without asking anything in return. This release is a tribute to all of them, a selection of our favorite tracks during these 5 years, for you and for all those who are still faithfully by our side.

Following INVŌKER’s ‘Superhero’, When We Dip XYZ is proud to present ‘The Chaos Inside’ from Imeïa, who has already been spotlighted on imprints such as Isolate, Frau Blau and Sum Over Histories. On this EP, the enigmatic producer blends impactful grooves, uncharacteristic delays, poignant textures and creative use of silence.

Things start off with ‘Le Pire Pour La Fin’, a deep cut which is led by a slow, drawn-out melody which recedes in favour of the bassline and noise-heavy plucks.
 
The eponymous ‘The Chaos Inside’ brings the energy levels a few notches up. The layered pad and choir initiate a progression of epic proportions over the simple, driving groove. The impacts, risers and glitches all accentuate this feeling of immensity. 

On ‘Elegancia’, the doubled kicks and resounding vocals set the scene for the larger than life lead synth. A subtle acid touch on the bass completes the tune. 

The last track, ‘Blue Romance’ displays the clearest vocals we’ve seen from Imeïa so far. The line ‘I don’t wanna be a fool, I just wanna be a tool’ is repeated throughout the intro and outro. A screaming guitar announces the highlight of the tune, with its uplifting bass pattern and toy-like percussions. An alternate dub mix is also available.
