She watched as the sun went down in the distance behind the hills, it left a faint trail of gold across the top of the hills and woodland before vanishing into the nothingness of the great beyond. She used to dream at night but now all she did was watch the stars flicker and dance against the deep radiant density of the black night sky. Watching from her window she was amazed by their brilliance despite them being so far away, perhaps one day she might dance out there amongst them all. 

Omena are set to release a new remix package in which they have invited an array of musicians to remix the material of Aleksandir. Ikonika's version of 'I Used To Dream' was the highlight for us - a bouncy, ethereal cut with deep vocals and elegant precision.

Harambee means "let's all pull together" in Swahili. Through several trips to Kenya, this homage to the country of Kenya was born.The track is a clever disco composition with funky brass and guitar, groovy rhodes and catchy vocals. Definitely a summer anthem that carries you away.
La Gozadera is inspired by Cuban carnival rhythms. For the production, the two Cubans Jose Braide (piano/synth), Alcides Toirac and the Spaniard Alberto Garcia (percussion) came together. Driving uptempo latin with its own twist makes this song unique.
The track “When we used to dance” is afro disco boogie at it's finest, beaming you back to the 80's. Voilaaa built around Bruno “Patchworks” Hovart from Lyon gives the original track Harambee a deeper feel. Nice "highlife" brass and guitars reminiscent of Ghana, give the song its own vibe.

The two-track EP, Suga's Drums on Leeds-based is dynamite bass meets techno fusion. What's more, you can check a full premiere from the release on site today. It comes in the form of 'Maasai Voices' an emotive yet pounding cut with an all-consuming low-end element. The track features beautiful vocals by women of the Maasai community in Kenya, highlighting the work of the Osiligi Charity - a UK organisation working in the Maasai areas of Kenya helping families out of poverty through education, health and local clean water.
