The Nottingham producer broke onto our radar with the monstrous 'Def' (on Steve Lawler's VIVa Music) and he hasn't stopped to look around. His next release is primed and ready to go and it's forthcoming on Wow! Recordings, the imprint of Amnesia Ibiza resident Mar-T.

Joe Bradley - better known as Latmun, has somewhat arisen to the very top echelon of contemporary UK house music production. Following the huge releases of ‘Whos That’ on the VIVa Warriors Season 4 compilation mix and ‘Def EP’ on VIVa LIMITED, we are thrilled to welcome back Latmun with another EP worthy of again becoming a staple in everyone’s music collections and DJ sets.

First announcing himself as a resident at Nottinghams clubbing institution, Stealth, Latmun’s career has quickly progressed following the release of ‘Def’ in 2016. Reaching upwards of 150k listens on Soundcloud this expertly produced EP defined Latmun’s sound, who is now known for producing some of the best grooves in UK house and techno. 

Bradley’s latest success has come from Green Velvet’s Relief label where ‘Everybodys Dancing’ and ‘That’s Good’ were released with the EP reaching number 1 overall on Beatport. Prior to this he was a part of the respected 2016 remix package of Velvet’s classic ‘Flash’. Leftwing & Kody’s Lost label has also accommodated a number of Latmun’s releases, notably ‘Cosmic’ which made it to no’ 5 in the charts. Another recent output came as a remix on Emerald City of The Golden Boy’s “Egyptian Lover”, which continued the consistency achieving a number 2 overall.

Support has come far-and-wide for this talented young producer and DJ and he can be found in Ibiza this summer playing for Jamie Jone’s Paradise parties at DC10, along with a number of dates for the Cuckooland Pool Parties at Ibiza Rocks curated by Do Not Sleep. The future is bright for Latmun, and this Tech House EP could easily reach the same heights as ‘Def’ did last year.

Sidney Charles - Jack Endlessly

In just a few years, Josh Butler has firmly established himself as one of house music's most revered talents. 2016 saw the launch of his label Origins, with Josh welcoming the likes of Marshall Jefferson, Todd Terry, Robert Owens and Santé to the imprint since, scoring his second Beatport #1 through his and Bontan’s stand out ‘Call You Back’ in early 2017. Add to the equation EPs on Kaoz Theory, Rejected and Defected, collaborations with Kerri Chandler and Darius Syrossian, and remixes for industry heavyweights Carl Cox and Joris Voorn, and it’s clear to see that Josh Butler is only just getting started. No wonder that Nick Curly and Gorge are very proud about his debut EP on their 8bit Records imprint.

Mid Feburary already and things don͛t seem to slow down here, at elrow Music͛s HQs, with yet another banger for this carnivalesque month. This time, our partner in crime is UKs Dale Howard, who delivers this ͚Alfagarth EP͛, a four tracker with two originals and two crushing remixes by Eli Brown and the team formed by Luca Donzelli & Mar-T. 

The EP opens up with the track naming it, ͚Alfagarth (Original Mix)͛, a song with a strong and loose percussion, with wooden touches, a reassuring hip-hopish female vocal and a great set of atmospheric FX, making this a perfect track for any moment on the floor. Then we have ͚Alfagarth (Eli Brown Remix)͛, in which Eli Brown turns the original into a tighter affair, maintaining the steadiness of the vocal line, adding some proper FX trickery and looping treatment for some added dancefloor madness.

Marcellus Wallace is one mean beat-making machine who never backs down from hard-hitting house music, as proven in his most recent release 'Remember' on Rawsome Recordings. Playing off a classic vocal snippet, Marcellus Wallace slaps down a walloping bass line, countered by several layers of well designed synths that call and respond to the rude bass lead. The breakdown is absolutely epic. Dark, edgy, and intense, Marcellus brilliantly builds up anticipation with massive rave synths and a ghostly breakbeat that furiously twists back into the main groove. Already getting great response on and off the dancefloor, 'Remember' is a weapon every DJ will want in their bag.
