As usual the selection was deeeeep + we hardly knew any of the tracks back then - many have since come to light and been repressed on various re-issue labels so you'll def recognize a few. UMEK is personally responsible for kickstarting the electronic music scene in his home country by first organising illegal raves and then becoming one of Slovenia’s most wanted exports.

He has made significant contributions to the techno scene since the late 1990s. Known for his dynamic sets and innovative tunes, he has released on many prestigious labels and is a pioneer of the minimal style, mostly on his own label, 1605. Cologne based DJ and producer Kos:mo has shot to prominence with his mix of melodic depth, rave energy and rolling grooves on Respect Recordings and many more. 

Waiting For The Rave is a full body workout with a funky baseline and slinky synths all brought to life with a menacing vocal and shooting laser synths. The bassline is fat and the future energy never lets up as this one unfolds into a cosmic world.
