'Having kick-started 2021 in emphatic fashion with POPOF’s huge four-track Skylighter EP just a few weeks ago, France’s most revered techno imprint, FORM Music, now unveils its second huge release of the year with the announcement of Stiv Hey’s hard-hitting Flash EP. 

Known for his unique blend of mind-bending techno and dark, driving soundscapes, Stiv Hey’s FORM Music debut follows a plethora of releases on some of the biggest labels in techno over the past few years, including Octopus Recordings, Sci+Tec, Tronic, Set About, Prospect Records, Respekt Recordings and Unrilis.

Inaugurating the three-part package with the juggernaut title track Flash, the hotly-tipped Milanese talent combines deep chugging basslines, industrial synths and trippy vocal hooks to devastating effect, as he takes the listener on an intense peak-time journey through the striking six-minute opener.

Up next, Stiv offers an impressive follow up to the relentless opener with Outlaws. Exploring an altogether different timbre to Flash, acidic sub-bass and tension-laden synths provide the perfect backbone to the middle order as the Italian techno titan delivers another exquisite, multi-textured cut, perfect for those early-hours warehouse moments. 

Last but by no means least, and completing the release with the imposing final track Resonance, Stiv Hey continues to further demonstrate his incredibly diverse production credentials, as throbbing bass and frenetic percussion combine in perfect accord to wrap a truly impressive label debut and another remarkable EP on POPOF’s FORM Music.'

We are proud to have a 3 track EP by Australian techno pioneer, Biz. Having recently released on Transmat, COD3QR, and his label Cliq, Biz has a deep appreciation for Detroit techno. These 3 tracks encompass everything from phat basslines to emotive warm analog melodies and pads. To sweeten the package we recruited Berlin's studio guru Hannes Bieger for a rump-shaking version of 'Psychotropic', and Tronic head honcho Christian Smith for an electro remix of 'Charlotte'.

Bertolt Meyer is a professor, DJ, producer and avowed modular enthusiast, who was born without his lower left arm. Instead of allowing this to hinder his creative pursuits, Meyer hacked a prosthetic that allows him to control some parameters of his modular setup with muscular signals sent directly from his mind.

As an artist, Meyers makes dynamic, emotive house and techno with dancefloors in mind. His debut release ‘Walk The Night’ on DESSERT encapsulates his truly unique approach in the form of two club-ready productions, with a remix courtesy of Hannes Bieger. 

Say It To Me is one of two productions. It is a dynamic deep house/techno number which is built on undulating arpeggios and uptempo drum patterns. It is shaded with a strong sense of wistful melancholia, building to a stunning diva vocal moment in the break.

Widely recognized as one of the brightest acts to emerge onto the international techno circuit over the past few years, Dok & Martin (a.k.a Victor Salvador and Adrian Martinez) have carved out an impressive early reputation through the quality of their productions and the hard-hitting impact of their DJ sets.
Following a collection of critically acclaimed releases dropped over the course of 2021, the in- demand Spanish duo now looks to continue their prolific run of form well into the New Year as they announce their debut release on Simina Grigoriu’s Kuukou Records with Catalepsia. Due for release on March 4, Catalepsia is a forceful, unrelenting slice of industrial warehouse techno from the two Spanish production partners, who land on Kuukou armed with an impressive catalogue of releases on the likes of FORM Music, Codex, Set About, Octopus Recordings, Mindshake, Unrilis, Say What? and Bloody Moon Records, to name just a few. Frenzied builds, growling bass and crisp hi-hats are the order of the day for the thunderous title track, which features an epic amalgamation of mind-warping synthesisers and merciless rhythms.
On the flip, and fresh off the back of her huge Rooftop Ballerina / Pirouette EP project, Kuukou label boss Simina Girgoriu offers her own unique edit of the masterful opener, with big kicks, thumping basslines and intricate drum patters providing the backdrop to another epic, multi- layered remix from the Berlin-based techno maven.
