'For the 44th release we feature a new name in Colour In Music. New at the label but a well known artist at the underground portuguese scene.  Andy Caz comes from Oporto city with a bunch of what he does best, powerfull and dreamfull tracks. Dancefloor vibes with 'Fill The Gap' EP. We can dance and dream at same time right?!

'Fill The Gap', the track that gives its name to the EP and fills the deserved place at this release. Lush pads and a minimal breakbeat intro make the presentation. When the energy starts to build, a strong kick and the bass seam to make you jump from earth to space. Motivational speech gives confidence to the dancer, and prooves that the right sound at the right place makes a hell of a track. A must have for those who love timeless music.

Luís Bravo and Amarno are on the remix dutty for 'Fill the Gap.' Luís who is no strange to the label teams up this time with this new artist Amarno, who has an amazing catalog of alias releases. Strong Dub Techno lines, minimal groove, and cinematic chords, with a touch of simplicity very characteristic to Bravo's sound, combined with Amarno's percussion strong game and experience. 

'Beginning' is a bassy dancefloor inducer . With a warm analog touch (which by the way is Andy's studio trademark), warm chords playing along with the groove and a voice that tour guides you into the right mood. Portuguese seasoned deep tech.

'Serum',-'an amber-coloured, protein-rich liquid'. This isn't blood or human body, but you can feel the texture and the meaning of the title. Richness all over the groove, with warm sounds, pads, that come and go all the time, never go away for ever but never come to stay. The chopped voices sound like a higher conscious state, telling you to dance from night 'till dawn. Enough talking, you have to live your personal sound experience with this 4 storytellers and fill your gap.'

Gareth Cole is the ambitious Brit who has been carving a name for himself as a purveyor of fine house and techno both as a producer and DJ. 

Here he signs up to Steve Bug’s Sublease Music for three slick and impactful slices of deep, techy house. First up is Signal, a low-slung groover with hypnoic keys, and a thick, rounded bottom end driving the track forward. 

On Courage, the energy is amped somewhat, with plenty of space thanks to the dubby, minimal production. 

Gareth notes “I was very inspired by music and DJ sets from Guy J - there is this sort of hypnotic groove which locks you into the vibe and music. I designed a really nice lead stab on Sylenth which is my go-to synth and it repeats during the majority of the tune and then other elements play around it to keep it interesting”. 

The final track is On The Edge, delving deep into Cole’s roots in techno - slowly building on the groove with extra elements to create a hypnotic, techy atmosphere sure to set dancefloors alight this summer.

Dust Yard return to Bondage a fine 3 track EP, plus a hot remix from the legendary Sascha Dive. Kicking off with Astral', this deep flowing gem is a tasty swaggering workout, with slightly dubby edges and subtle melodics, this moody little number fuses dark with light, while retaining the groove throughout. Sascha Dive steps up on remix duties and strips things back. Pushing the drums loud and bringing the musicality down, gives this a stompy heads down vibe, before adding squelchy musicality and bringing the pads to shine through beautifully. The next original track from Dust Yard is 'Supernova'. Another deep yet warm slab of goodness, while keeping things deep but letting it really kick! Good vibes galore! 'Zodiac' rounds things off, and we go classic house edged, with its shoulder-swaying bumpinesss, and head nodding percussion. Its groovy baby.

The Estonian house DJ and producer Taavi Tuisk drops a two tracker for Steve Bug’s irrepressible Poker Flat Recordings. 

Taavi has been making, releasing and promoting music for almost 2 decades, and here we get to feel something of his playful approach to dance music. 

Being an audio production and multimedia lecturer at Tallinn University he could also easily have a doctor degree in DJ-ing, producing and nightlife developing. 

Taavi has been a DJ for more than half of his life and played all over the world - Spain, UK, Germany, Brazil, South Africa, USA etc. Performing at superclubs like Ministry Of Sound, Pacha and Space but also at small cozy underground venues in South Africa. He’s also founder of two open air summer clubs in Tallinn.

Taavi has been producing music since 2003 using different artist names and won the EMA (Estonian Music Award) in 2017 for the best electronic music album.

Taavi only started to release new music under his real name two years ago on labels like A Tribe Called Kotori, Beatfreak, Sudam, Exotic Refreshment, Switchlab and more. 

It’s all about a mixture of synthetic and atmospheric sounds together with ethnic motives and strong percussive grooves, he also brings live element in the form of electronic drums and synths to spice up his live dj gigs.

The title track of Incroyable is a deep house track with tons of cosmic disco attitude - bright sparking synths and shuffling grooves. What's more it features an outstanding spoken word vocal in French.

Also included is a rework by Mihai Popoviciu, a Poker Flat regular who turns in a tougher tech house version that's the perfect compliment to the original. All in all an unmissable release set to go over big with a lot of DJs and their dancefloors.

Label favourites Pornbugs return with another triumphant release, on the ever reliable Bondage Music. Kicking off with the title track "Juvania", a deep and sophisticated subtle groover, with its deep bass setting the tone. A filtered vocal hook loops around while trippy percussive adds an additional vibe, while the gated vocal adds a sparkle to proceedings. Next we find "Mudita", with its moody rollin groove, and spoken style vocal that adds a little bounce to this workout, while some dubby elements are sprinkled nicely. The breakdown is a hypnotic and cosmic vibed affair, as the spoken word plays with your mind before returning to the track with a real throb. "Mudita" gets remixed by Alexander Matchak, who gives some skippy percussion over a phat basslined house flavour. Deep and deadly goodness for late night vibes that need a real swagger.
