This set was recorded during my first show in Japan — an intimate, underground night in Osaka, powered by a Funktion-One system that matched the atmosphere perfectly.

A minimal, deep, introspective, and groovy journey, created to let you drift, connect, and fall into the sounds.

It was a special experience, and I hope to be back soon.

Premiere: Matthias Meyer - Bits The Dust [Strangely Enough]

Hello and welcome back to Hidden Garden Radio! 🌿

For this edition, we welcome BOHEM, an artist shaped by a life far beyond dancefloors. Raised in a small town where “electronic” meant TVs and radios, Nico grew up surrounded by guitars, harmonicas, street football, and travels that opened his ears to a world of sound.

His productions blend everything he carries — retro-futuristic, multi-genre, multicultural, and fully hybrid. A timeless experiment built on intuition and emotion. This approach has led him to release on respected imprints like Bar25 Music, SIRIN Music, Saisons, Shango Records, Leisure Music Production, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, House Music With Love, Circle of Life, Roaming Leaves, Proton, and 3rd Avenue.

Behind the decks, BOHEM plays like a sonic nomad — breaking patterns, mixing worlds, and guiding the crowd into the unknown with intention. For him, risk isn’t a danger; it’s part of the art.

And for this episode, he brings us something truly special:
a set recorded live at Akasha in Ibiza, where he had the honour of opening for the great Nick Warren. A moment that captures his instinct, his sound, and his storytelling at full power.

Premiere: NIBC - Without A Trace [Trunkfunk Records]

The code was complicated and fierce, the numbers flashed rapidly upon the screen. Green text illuminated the blackness all around, within the tiny cell like room they were hard at work seeking to make a sustainable difference to a world beyond the walls. There was two of them here but earlier the room had been far busier, some had gone home to their families, others to sleep. 

NIBC is set to release a new EP on Trunkfunk records. Early support for this one from an all star list: Altern-8, Man Power, Horse Meat Disco, Anja Schneider, Danny Tenaglia, Perel, Iron Curtis, Tensnake, The Revenge and Moscoman.
