This package is quite varied with all mixes reaching new ground with sounds and appeal. In this release we will see some of the finest producers such us: Raffaele Rizzi, Loco and Jam, Ant Brooks, Pascal Nuzzo , Max D-loved and Nino Bua. At the end of the day, good music is good music regardless the genre. As the dust finally begins to settle after the release of Pan-Pot's massive album 'The Other', it's time to unleash a collection of heavy hitting reworks from the best and brightest stars of todays techno elite. Through careful consideration and an acute attention to detail, we couldn't be more elated to confirm ten artists we know and love to contribute their unique vision to Second State's first ever remix package.

Kicking things off with a heavily twisted alteration of 'Attention' is Nicole Moudaber and it's a tangled, dark trek through dense acoustic layers of audible madness. Next up is the Hamburg duo

Extrawelt with their twist on 'Optimistic Grey' and they deliver a beautiful blend of emotion and groove they are synonymous for.

Following suit is another passionately romantic number from man of the hour, Stephan Bodzin, and his take feels like floating through a sea of clouds, resulting in a timeless classic to be a focal point in any set for years to come.

Next in line is Ray Kajioka's take on '808 Nirvana' and it's a cosmic ride, ripe with swirling atmospherics laid over big churning drums and rolling cymbals.

Following up on the second 12“ of this LP is a man who needs no introduction: Carl Cox. And in true Coxy fashion he turns 'Riot' into just that: a big room, tension building monster!

Broken Engine' is the next track to get worked over and Wigbert delivers a stunning mix of shimmering tones and growling bass resulting in a lush venture through a cosmic backdrop of flickering stars in deep space.

Joseph Capriati ensues with his vision of 'Fugitives' and he brilliantly keeps the vibe of the original yet adds his trademark big room flair to take it to another level of driving euphoria.

Enlisting the talents of Alan Fitzpatrick to remix one of the slower listening tracks on the album turned out to be magic. With his signature percussion, Fitzpatrick takes the parts and creates a dive deep into sultry smooth waters of seduction.

The first of our last two remixes, which are digital exclusives, come from Paul Ritch and he delivers a grinding rendition of 'Riot', expertly crafted for the more euphoric peak time occasions.

Last and certainly not least is a man on the rise, Kevin Knapp with his twist on his own collaboration with Pan-Pot: 'Get In'. An expertly crafted tech house jam exploding with energy and attitude perfect for any moment, day or night, indoors or out.

No matter the time or place, there is something here for everyone and we are truly fulfilled and honored to present this package of cutting edge artists to celebrate this landmark moment. We know you will enjoy!

2015 saw Stephan Bodzin release his second full length, “Powers of Ten”, as well as a new single on DJ Tennis’ and Tale of Us’ taste making label Life and Death. The album is another magical piece of work that focuses on melody and rhythm, on fat bass and vivid sound design and is a truly captivating journey through the mind, music, body and soul of one of dance music’s truly modern greats. After its release, a great team of modern music makers was enlisted to remix tracks from it: Maceo Plex & Shall Ochin, Fur Coat, Extrawelt, long time musical sparring partner Marc Romboy, Pan-Pot, Max Cooper, Agents of Time, Dominik Eulberg and many more all contributed to what is an essential collection. With a remix of ‘Sleepless’, a Pan-Pot track from their latest album, Stephan Bodzin closed the latest chapter of 2015 in what has been an exhilarating musical journey in his capable and creative hands.

Out with their third EP of 2016, this August Monkey Safari will release 'Boris,' with remixes by Guy Mantzur and Victor Ruiz, showing the world once again that these guys aren't messing around. 'Boris' is the follow up to their successful mega-EP, 'Bernstein,' released in June, with remixes by John Digweed & Nick Muir and UNER. Their next four-track EP shows the brothers' more serious, grownup side, taking new risks with no vocals, utilizing empty spaces and slower buildups. 'Boris' showcases proper club music: dark and sweaty Tech House with a hypnotic twist.
In the first track of the EP, self-titled "Boris," Sven and Lars go even deeper into their trance trajectory bridging on the darker side of Techno. The second track, "Dodge," takes listeners on a mystical journey playing with deep ambient sounds and a drop that makes your heart speed up. Tel Aviv-based producer Guy Mantzur (Kompakt / Bedrock / Diynamic) drops his hypnotic and seductive remix of "Boris," impossible not to get lost in. Additionally, Brazilian producer Victor Ruiz’s up-beat and complex remix of "Dodge" is not to be missed. Monkey Safari's dedication to their craft is catching the attention of industry dignitaries and fans alike with their consistent releases and non-stop international touring. Premiere: Reinier Zonneveld - Abstinence [Stil Vor Talent]

Edu Imbernon's Eklektisch welcomes Rafael Cerato (Diynamic, Suara, Stil Vor Talent) back to the family this October and he's joined by two in-form remixers in Polymath founder Third Son and São Paulo titan Victor Ruiz. Brazilian producer Ruiz turns in a monster rework of 'Mirrors Of Life', he's crafted a nine minute epic, which builds from a brooding intro to an arpeggiator-laden crescendo around the six minute mark. He closes with an uplifting synth-driven section that is sure to raise many a roof.  It's a journey in the true sense of the word. Check it out only on When We Dip today!

Kuukou head Simina Grigoriu steps up to the plate for her label’s 9th release with "Makibishi", a no-nonsense three tracker including one original banger and two trippy remixes.

Melancholic pads and reverbed arpeggiators are the focal points of "Wille zum Wahnsinn’s" take on "Makibishi". The duo, comprising of Max Manie and Simon Panosch, prove a penchant for winding melodies and crafting intense momentums. 

Along with the initial "Makibishi" incursion, the EP offers up highly versatile reconstructions with alternating moods to fit any floor vibe, so long as it’s inherently and undoubtedly a tech infused affair.

After the success of the Slam + Gary Beck (Alliances 1) release, Slam welcome friends and peers Pan-Pot to the next phase of their 'Alliances' series. Slam & Pan-Pot have shared the stage at many an occasion whether it be at Slam's Pressure or Return To Mono nights at The Arches & Sub Club respectively, or at the Mobilee Rooftop or Poolside parties, Off-Sonar. Pan-Pot have also remixed Slam's 'Room 2' & 'Lifetimes' tracks while Slam have reworked Pan-Pot's 'Face To Face' & 'Confronted' tracks. Their sounds are well matched, as are their personalities. 'Media' brings the drive, swing and melody that both pairs of producers do so well. Twisting and turning through delayed FX and doubling drums, 'Media' swells until it hits an epic bass sequence at the tracks half-way mark before dropping back to a stripped groove. When the two acts combine they are most certainly a formidable force. 'Media' is the perfect example of this.
