Correspondant is back with a new release from Boudi, “Not Tonight Pamela”. Hailing from Amsterdam, Netherlands, Boudi is a DJ and producer drawing inspiration from the sound of the 90s. Together with Boy Boogie, they form the duo BS-DOS, reviving the hard dance, eurodance and trance spirit through their tracks and DJ sets. 
On Chrome Couture, a voice sample chants “It’s the future”, and that’s exactly what this EP sounds like. All while paying homage to classic prog-house vibes, “Not Tonight Pamela” offers a fresh twist to that genre, with a contemporary-sounding production and infectious energy. Through euphoric piano breaks, cheeky samples and driving basslines, this two-tracker definitely has what it takes to get you going all night long.

Named after a unique Turkish expression describing the shimmering of moonlight on the sea,“Yakamoz” tells the story of a playful tease. The stunning vocals of Spacer Woman and Champagne Soul are complemented by driving prog-bass and cheeky trance-like synth stabs. Both vocalists trade lines like lovers in a game of chase, their voices weaving through lush pads
and pulsating rhythms. While undeniably made for the dance floor, the track showcases unconventional yet intriguing percussion like the darbouka. It takes the listener on an exploration of sound, merging the best of Turkish electronic music and contemporary prog-house. Big euphoric synths crash against the groove, breaking the tension into pure dancefloor ecstasy.

“Yakamoz” lingers in that fleeting moment between hesitation and surrender, leaving you wanting more.

This release also includes remixes by the iconic French duo Clinique Lacuna, who deliver a sultry remix with big snares and fat basslines, and Boudi, one of the most talented Dutch producers right now, who contributes a massive, dancefloor-oriented remix.

And today, it has a visitor. 🏛️ A silent, shimmering being has appeared, its body wrapped in chrome, its head a multi-faceted mirror reflecting the harsh sun and the raw concrete. It is an apparition, an echo, a living sculpture born from the building's own lonely soul. It is the Brutalist Being, and it has come to dream its concrete dreams.

It does not speak. It does not move. It simply *is*. It observes the world through its mirrored face, absorbing the textures of the raw cement, the patterns of the empty windows, the vastness of the sky. 🤖 This is a being of pure form and reflection, a visitor from a dimension of minimalist design and silent contemplation. Its purpose is unknown, its origin a mystery. It is as stark and as beautiful as the architecture it contemplates.

The music of OZONE is the soundtrack to this silent vigil. It is a minimal, architectural techno, stripped down to its essential components. The beat is the steady, monolithic rhythm of the concrete blocks. The ambient pads are the wind whistling through the empty corridors. The sharp, clean synth stabs are the glint of sunlight off its mirrored head. ✨ It is a soundscape built from angles, echoes, and empty space—a sonic representation of brutalist thought.

This is not a call to dance, but a call to observe. An invitation to find the hidden beauty in stark structures and the profound emotion in perfect minimalism. Let the music build a cathedral of sound in your mind. Become the being, and see the world as a collection of beautiful, silent forms. 👽
