Damon Jee is back on Polaris.This time, he presents ‘Memories’, a significant Ep composed with Demian, a Damon's old friend and brother who sadly passed away recently. Demian was a lovely person with a big heart and he was also a very good DJ and producer, with some great releases on Kompakt and Correspondant, to name but a few.
This ep is a tribute to Demian, may his soul rest in peace.

We start with ‘Memories’, a featuring track vibrant square waves and perfectly harmonised electronic composition, immediately mesmerizing the listener with its fascinating leitmotif and arpeggios, serving as a musical testament to a trip beyond time.

We continue the story with the timeless “A night in 2006”, a track that is a true explosion of emotions and flavors, an impressive weapon full of organic instruments and nuances that has a clear objective: to make you dance.

HIFI/LOFI Records is thrilled to announce the debut EP from Palestinian-Jordanian and London-based DJ / Producer Adnan Khadra. Titled Solar Visions, the highly anticipated release drops on May 2nd and showcases Adnan’s ability to blend warm, driving and immersive sounds, straddling the line between personal, deeply-felt emotional work and uplifting moments of release through each and every track. Backed by a festival-ready remix provided by Italian master Dodi Palese, we are confident that Solar Visions will not only find its way in many DJ’s bags, but also resonate deeply with listeners through Adnan’s strong and touching emotional journey he shares with us through this brilliant release.

Adnan Khadra has been making waves since his 2022 debut at London’s iconic Fabric. With following appearances at the club’s Room 1 and 2, sharing the bill with the likes of Âme, John Digweed, Eagles & Butterflies, Mano Le Tough, Kerala Dust, and many more, but also releasing a collaboration with Pattn on fabric Records. Now unveiling « Solar Visions », Adnan’s talent shines through in every detail, and we couldn’t be happier to support his growing reputation and rising artistic journey.

Opening the EP, ’Capricious Society’ has all it takes to be a hit : emotion, groove, carefully crafted synth stabs, melodic synth-escapades and driving arpeggiators, as well as ethereal sounding vocoders. One track made for those special and emotional moments on the dancefloor.

Dodi Palese takes ‘Capricious Society’ to festival territory, its ostinatos taking center stage to transform the original into a hypnotic and powerful anthem with a relentless rise of energy. While the original track feels like an emotional dream, the remix adds the power factor to it.
Photons brings another facet of Adnan’s Solar Visions, with heady synths, soaring choirs, as well as epic and emotionally charged chord progressions.

Psychedelic Pina Colada brings is in a more percussive dreamscape, showcasing Adnan’s knack for intricate and catchy melodic patterns, acid synths, and celestial pads—topped off with a mesmerising flute-like lead.

Previously featured on Feed The Void’s fundraising compilation to support the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, Dreamweaver is a poignant closing statement about hope and resilience—serving as a positive reminder that music can inspire change, and hope for better days to come, and we believe through his music, Adnan is the perfect messenger for this purpose. (Dreamweaver will only be available as a bonus track bundled with the EP, the original release is still available to purchase as a single via Feed The Void).

Panthera makes its return to Polaris!
The talented Frenchman delivers a stunning track, full of diverse tones and moods.
Master Darlyn Vlys gets in on the soundscape with his rework, bringing a high-energy remix to the EP.

Fallen is an explosion of flavor, an intense mélange of retro influences with contemporary sensibility that clash in fresh and unexpectable ways. The song captures the listener instantly with its rich melodies that blend perfectly with layers of entrancing synthetic vocals.

Darlyn Vlys presents us with a superb remix that sends us into a melodic vortex, perfectly capturing the essence of the original while bringing it into his own personal musical universe.

For this anniversary opus, he is joined by Vincent Brasse, the Mauritian singer who contributed to the intemporel 'Generation', the label's first Ep.
‘Genesis’ draws on their musical origins, while relentlessly exploring new musical dimensions.
Drawing on Darlyn's consistent production, 'Genesis' instantly captures the fancy with its emotional momentum, sweeping eighties synths bursting with energy and the commanding vocals of the multi-talented Vincent Brasse.
