Music as art form is essentially playful, you play the piano you don’t work the piano 
music differs from say travel, when you travel, you are trying to get somewhere. And of course, we because being a very compulsive and purposeful culture, are busy getting everywhere faster and faster and faster; until we eliminate the distance between places. 
I mean, with modern jet travel you can arrive instantaneously. What happens as a result of that is that the two ends of your journey become the same place. So, you eliminate the distance and you eliminate the journey!
So then, the whole point of dancing is the dance. Because we’ve simply cheated ourselves the whole way down the line.
We thought of life by analogy, with a journey, with a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at the end and the thing was to get to that end, success or whatever it is or maybe heaven after you’re dead.

But, we missed the point the whole way along, you didn’t let it happen.
So then. Now existence you see is something that is in spontaneous. means that which happens of itself. Your hair grows by itself. Your heart beats by itself. You breathe pretty much by itself. Your glands secrete their essences by themselves. You don’t have voluntary control over these things.  So, we say it happens spontaneously, so when you go to sleep and you're trying to go to sleep, 
you interfere with the spontaneous process of going to sleep
try to breathe real hard and you find get balled up in your breathing and he lets it happen by itself
You gotta let go and then it happened. Because if you don't, you're going to be all clutched up 
You’re going to be constantly trying to do what can happen healthily only if you don’t try
You gotta let go and let it happened

Jonas Rathsman announces his latest offering with cutting-edge innovators Crosstown Rebels. ‘Complex’ featuring Josef Salvat is released on 10th June 2016.

This is a tech-blues odyssey, an introverts primal scream, where complex emotions and urges are vented and perfectly complemented by Rathsman’s explorations into the dark corners of electronic music. Enjoy the journey. With the release only in the hands of a select few tastemaker DJs, ‘Complex’ has been making waves at the recent Miami Winter Music Conference, “receiving hands in the air welcomes and even a sit down ovation” according to label boss Damian Lazarus. ‘Complex’ is set to be the first underground anthem of 2016.

The release comes with two carefully chosen remixes. First up is Swiss techno stalwart Deetron, who steers the song into percussive acid oblivion while Serge Devant offers up his deep house expertise for a dramatic and driving offbeat cut.

With his instantly recognisable sound, Jonas has found praise the world over for his keen ear and transcendent sets, which have captivated listeners on both the international club and festival scenes.

Following his BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Rathsman continues to showcase his technical capabilities and impressive track selection with his bi-monthly mix series ‘ELEMENTS’, now on its fourth instalment.

Following on from this is their first full EP on All Day I Dream. 
Each track casts its own unique spell. One thing Rami and Tamer know is mood. Opening with 'Straight To The Heart' beauty and hypnotic vibes abound. Sounding as good pitched up as it does at it's patient pace, it's groove ignites the dance floor as well as the heart. 

‚The Way Home’ takes it's time to build textures and layers creating a more somber mood. 

The EP is close out with the vocals of Eric Volta on ‚Sight’, perfectly complimenting the overall mood of the release.

The 28th Chapter sees Djuma Soundsystem team up with Westerby for our latest story in sound: the cosmic afro tech of ‘Disambigua’.

Now based in Copenhagen, Norwegian artist Djuma Soundsystem was catapulted into the public's consciousness over a decade ago with his club classic 'Les Djinns' on Get Physical Music. His organic, sample-heavy signature sound is the perfect combination with fellow Copenhagen artist Westerby’s rougher, analogue synths and techy edges.

‘Disambigua’, their much-anticipated follow up to smash hit ‘Koma Kobache’ (Get Physical), is a standout cut which is already turning heads on dancefloors across Europe with its dark groove and killer vocal hook.

Rising star Jonathan Kaspar (Objektivity, Pets Recordings) is first up on the Editions, where he takes things deep. Built around the interplay of synth lines in call and response, his rework is a pure bass monster.

Meanwhile, label regular KatrinKa marks her latest release on Chapter 24 with an Edition that places the emphasis on a trademark infectious groove, paired with a spiritual melodic motif; a perfect balance of darkness and light.

The package is rounded out by Aaaron. The in-demand producer has worked with everyone from Defected and Get Physical to (more recently) Connected and Yoshitoshi. He focuses on deep, powerful drums in a version heavy on tension.

With this latest Chapter there can be no doubt: four different flavours of ‘Disambigua’ which together add up to a clear and coherent whole.

Active Child's tune 'Johnny Belinda' gets the remix treatment from Dutch electronic music legend Matthew Dekay The producer has been responsible for one of Innervisions' biggest hits, 'Lost In A Moment', and also produced the groundbreaking EP 'Amity' including the summer hit 'Fangtango' on Maeve. With his remix for Active Child's track 'Johnny Belinda' Dekay once again proves his ability to turn an original track into his own piece of work. Melodic melancholic synth chords shape the body of MDK's remix approach and are set with a reserved bass line that fully unfolds its punch as the remix proceeds. But it certainly is the vocal that puts its mark on the track and Dekay manages to make the interaction between the vocals and soundscapes sound so easy.

Drumcode has become a label synonymous with some of the most-cutting edge and forward-thinking techno over the last 20 years. Their artists include both emerging and established names, and one of those well recognised is Enrico Sangiuliano. Now announcing the very first concept album of his career.

The prolific Italian producer has been catapulted into the limelight after the runaway success of his past releases, and now Biomorph is born. 

A very special concept album designed to take the listener on a journey of evolution. A musical adaptation describing how biological and technological advances over numerous generations of time have all started from the same first step in our own biological journey.

Divided into 4 parts, Organisms opens with atmospheric tones, gradually blending complex textures and timbres to begin the evolutional process. The beginning of this section combines full sounding arrangements before stripping it all back to basics. From here it dissolves into the atmosphere. Organisms then progresses into a break-beat influenced, down tempo track using synths to add complexity to the straight, broken rhythms.

Galactic, futuristic elements are found in both tracks in Cosmic Forces. Upbeat, groovy, electronic synths resonate, before ‘Hidden T’ brings the tension to get things pumped up with stratospheric swirls and twirls to lay down one of the most mind meltingly deep drops.

Metamorphosis is mysterious, its opening beat is a deep and piercing tone that sends the listener into a sensory awareness of their surroundings before breaking into a fully charged, techno track, with Enrico’s trademark sounds and textures.

All evolution has an ending.

Two Probabilities shows the positive, starting out evocative and emotional, with a gentle harmony, gazing towards a ‘New Dawn’. On the other side of the spectrum lies the negative. This is influenced with a rhythm that articulates the beat of death, mathematical, cold and metallic in texture, it shows the unsustainability of its nature, with a hectic, anxious break beat influenced ending.
